It was her first World Cup win in super-G. • Schmidhofer can become the first Austrian woman to win successive super-G events on the World Cup since Renate Götschl in December 2006. • Götschl was also the last Austrian woman to win multiple World Cup super- G races in a season as she won four in 2006/07. • At the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, two Austrian women finished on the super-G podium: Anna Veith (gold) and Nicole Hosp (bronze). Gut-Behrami and Weirather seeking super-G win • Lara Gut-Behrami has won 12 World Cup races in super-G, equal to Carole Merle in joint-fourth place among women. Only Lindsey Vonn (28), Renate Götschl (17) and Katja Seizinger (16) have won more. • Gut-Behrami's last super-G win on the World Cup came in Cortina d'Ampezzo on 21 January 2018. • Gut-Behrami has won at least one World Cup super-G race in each of the previous five seasons (2013/14-2017/18). • Tina Weirather has won seven career World Cup super-G races, equal to Alexandra Meissnitzer. The Czech snowboard specialist made the best of the tricky weather conditions to win ahead of the last two world championship downhill silver medallists, Corinne Suter of Switzerland and Austria’s Stephanie Venier.
