OVERVIEW Kempinski Hotel Haitang Bay Sanya is China's first Kempinski resort and is luxuriously located in the premier area of Haitang Bay Sanya. It is a stunning Chinese hideaway that is lively yet intimate. With a wide selection of rooms, suites and residential-style villas, plus an equally extensive selection of MICE facilities, including the grandest ballroom on the island and a large, 4,000-sqm grand lawn, Kempinski Hotel Haitang Bay Sanya is the venue of choice for grand weddings and events. Unique to Kempinski Hotel Haitang Bay Sanya are the 15 private dining rooms, a Wood Art Museum housed in a century-old mansion, two pagodas from the Qing Dynasty, a dragon boat experience on a 1,200-metre long seawater river, and a miniature 18-hole golf putting course. The resort also benefits from direct access to the white sand beach.

ROOMS There are six main buildings and two villa complexes. Savour quiet moments in the elegantly-appointed rooms or take in the fresh breeze from the South China Sea on the walk- out balcony. Simply take time to relax and celebrate with a glass of champagne in an outdoor bathtub complemented by a sweeping panoramic view of either our resort garden or the ocean.

Premier Inland/Garden/ Ocean View Room

A relaxing bath or the cosy rain forest shower in the spacious bathroom. Or, take in the views of the lush tropical garden scenery from the bathtub on the balcony. In this spacious room, complete with traditional Chinese wood- crafted furniture and paintings, guests will understand how life can be enjoyed and slowed down. There are a total of 248 of these rooms with an average size of 65 sqm (700 sq ft).

Deluxe Garden/Ocean View Room

Each spacious room is equipped with an oversized bathtub on the balcony overlooking views of the resort’s garden or ocean. There are a total of 72 of these rooms with an average size of 65 sqm (700 sq ft).

SUITES Guests requiring more space can select the Duplex Suite with

breath-taking views and a swimming pool, perfect for trips with the family or loved ones.

Duplex Suite Each suite boasts a well-appointed living room and a separate bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. There are a total of 40 of these suites with an average size of 118 sqm (1,270 sq ft).

Junior Suite The Junior suite is an ideal choice for a couple or small family. With its elegant decor it offers breathtaking views of the lush tropical gardens surrounding the resort. There are a total of 14 of these suites with an average size of 110 sqm (1,148 sq ft).

KEMPINSKI VILLAS Kempinski Villas comprise a range of two to five bedroom jet-pool residential-style and oceanfront villas. Villas include spacious areas, exquisite Chinese-style furniture, top-of-the-line entertainment facilities and lavish tropical gardens, terraces, saunas, wine rooms, fully equipped kitchens and, best of all, separate car access and parking for guests’ vehicles at each villa doorstep. Offering guests their own private pool and unobstructed views of the South China Sea, the Two-Bedroom Deluxe Pool Villa comes with a private kitchen and an outdoor living area including a plunge pool and a Jacuzzi. There are a total of 4 of these villas with an average size of 211 sqm (2,271 sq ft).

Kempinski Beachside Pool Villa with 2 Bedrooms

Nestled in its own lush garden, you enter the Kempinski Villas through an open-air patio. On the upper entrance level you find the master bedroom with a walk in closet, a master bathroom, sauna, and open air Jacuzzi, overlooking the pool and garden. The lower floor occupies the second luxury bedroom and en-suite bath, and the living room with access to your private garden with sundeck and full size swimming pool.From the garden you have direct beach access. This villa comes as large as 211m² (2.271ft²) and accommodates up to 5 persons. The swimming pool is 12,5m (41 ft.) long.

Kempinski Pool Villa with 4 Bedroom

Nestled in its own lush garden, the 4-bedroom Kempinski Villa offers you space and luxurious comfort. On the upper floor, there is the master bedroom with walk in closet, a master bathroom with sauna and a private terrace with Jacuzzi, overlooking the pool and garden. There is one bedroom on the entrance-hall level, and two on the lower floor level, where you also find the large dining room with fully equipped kitchen. If not cooking yourself, our kitchen team and / or catering team are at your service. The dining room gives access to your private lush garden, sundeck and full size swimming pool. This villa comes as large as 408m² (4.392ft²) and accommodates up to 9 persons. Length of the swimming pool is 12,5m (41 ft.), there is also a kid’s pool.

Kempinski Garden Villa with 5 bedrooms

A magnificent five-bedroom villa with views of the sandy beach. Each villa has an idyllic garden and sauna. For the ultimate in luxury, all basins in the master bedroom are made of Burmese jade. There are a total of 8 of these villas with an average size of 418 sqm (4,500 sq ft).

Kempinski Beachside Pool Villa with 5 Bedrooms

Nestled in its own lush garden, the 5-bedroom Kempinski Beachside Pool Villa will be your residential home away from home, offering you utmost elegance and luxurious comfort. On the upper floor there is the master bedroom with walk-in closet, a master bathroom, sauna and a private office space for those who never get off work, and a large marbled terrace with Jacuzzi, with views towards the South China Sea, overlooking the pool and private garden. On the entrance hall level, you will find the elegant living rooms with a terrace, a guest bath, plus two bedrooms with bathrooms. Two bedrooms are found on the lower floor level, next to a large dining room with fully equipped kitchen and an intimate wine cellar / smokers lounge. Paulaner Brauhaus (Opening late 2015)

Guests can enjoy fresh, locally-brewed beer and traditional Bavarian delicacies in a fusion Sino-Bavarian setting with live entertainment. Paulaner Brauhaus will be located in a 150-year-old house which dates back to the Qing Dynasty and sits next to the seawater river. With the only international microbrewery in Sanya, Paulaner beers are unstrained, naturally cloudy and as fresh as the mountain air, specially prepared by the hotel’s German brew master.

Grand Vienna Ballroom The 1,500 sqm ballroom can accommodate up to 1,600 people and is equipped with state-of-the-art audio/visual technology. The Grand Vienna Ballroom is available as a stand-alone venue, offering a lavish yet private atmosphere for a wide range of special events.

Function Rooms The 10 function rooms are ideal for small meetings and can accommodate between 10 and 100people. They are

positioned close to the unique seawater river for those who prefer to arrive in style.

Sea Side Lawn

The 4,000-sqm lawn is an excellent venue for romantic weddings, birthday parties, gala dinners, garden Receptions and other outdoor social events.

Rotunda The Rotunda function room is located at the centre of the hotel complex, overlooking the lush, green garden and the ocean beyond. It is an ideal venue for VIP meetings, private dining, social occasions, celebrations and parties.

Wood Art Museum The Wood Art Museum is spectacularly surrounded by the river and golf course. It is housed in a century-old Shanghai- style mansion which was previously owned by Mr Du Yue- sheng (a 20th-century Chinese celebrity). The museum was brought in from Shanghai and can serve as the ideal venue for small weddings, corporate events, private parties or exhibitions. The Wood Art Museum is available by special arrangement only.

Multi-functional Beachfront Venue (AURA)

AURA, a stunning new beachfront venue for all occasions is the first and only in Haitang Bay, Sanya, complete with its own helipad. The circular and modern glasshouse structure provides the maximum view of 360 degrees and comfortably seats 60 guests. Below the venue is another multi-functional space with its latest audio-visual systems. AURA offers the perfect setting for hosting an exchange of marriage vows or any private events with a panoramic view of the beach and blue skies.
