Let us pray for these capital intentions of the Church. Let us come and pray as well as a mark of thanksgiving for the blessing granted which is the re-opening of Saint Mary’s House. General Chapter final address At the close of its General Chapter, the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X calls to mind the importance and timeliness of the declaration made by its founder, Marcel Lefebvre, on st November . More than fifty years of the Church’s self-destruction allow one fully to appreciate the soundness of that declaration, which the Society embraces in its entirety: We hold fast, with all our heart and with all our soul, to Catholic Rome, Guardian of the Catholic Faith and of the traditions necessary to preserve this faith, to Eternal Rome, Mistress of wisdom and truth. … No authority, not even the highest in the hierarchy, can force us to abandon or diminish our Catholic Faith, so clearly expressed and professed by the Church’s Magisterium for twenty centuries. … That is why we hold fast to all that has been believed and practiced in the faith, morals, liturgy, teaching of the catechism, formation of the priest and institution of the Church, by the Church of all time; to all these things as codified in those books published before het Modernist influence of the Council.

  • Catholic Candle's List of Priests & Those Who Claim to Be Priests
Revision date: November 6, 2020 Catholic Candle’s List of Priests & Those Who Claim to be Priests This list primarily focuses on whether there is any doubt concerning the validity of the ordination of a priest whom the faithful might encounter. Note: Catholic sacramental theology requires that an ordination be treated as invalid if even the slightest reasonable doubt exists, concerning the validity of either the ordination or the ordaining bishop’s consecration. See the analyses elsewhere in Catholic Candle, which demonstrate the inherent doubtfulness of conciliar ordinations and consecrations: http://catholiccandle.neocities.org/faith/new-ordination-doubtful.html https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49oPuI54eEGd2RRcTFSY29EYzg/view https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49oPuI54eEGZVF5cmFvMGdZM0U/view Also, in the list below, Catholic Candle flags sedevacantist priests (or supposed priests) of which we are aware. Sedevacantism is a grave error and is schism. See this article analyzing the sedevacantist error: https://catholiccandle.neocities.org/faith/against-sedevacantism.html This is not a list of “approved” priests. It is the beginning of a prudent investigation concerning a particular priest. Fr. Patrick Abbet From Switzerland. Ordained in 2002. Source: STAS.org website, where he was an SSPX seminary professor. Fr. Stephen Abraham As of April 2017, he lives in a house with Bishop Richard Nelson Williamson, in Broadstairs, England. There are serious problems with this SSPX-ordained priest.

  • SSPX Superior General Responds to Pope’
“A House Built On Sand”: SSPX Superior General Responds to Pope’s “Human Fraternity” Text (Photo: Fr. Davide Pagliarani, SSPX Superior General, center, with his First and Second Assistants, Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta, left, and Fr. Christian Bouchacourt, respectively.) “The Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar is nothing but a house built on sand.” Thus affirms Fr. Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX), in a statement released by the Society on Sunday (full text below). Fr. Pagliarani’s comments come in response to the joint declaration signed by Pope Francis and Dr. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Mosque and University (Cairo, Egypt), during the Pope’s recent trip to the United Arab Emirates (Feb. 3-5, 2019). Together with his First and Second Assistants, Fr. Pagliarani rightly asserts that “[a]n ecumenical Christ would not be the true Christ,” while observing that “true fraternity exists only in Jesus Christ and in Him alone”. Concerning the claim that “the pluralism and the diversity of religions” is “willed by God in His wisdom”, Fr. Pagliarani notes that this false assertion is “opposed to the dogma that declares that the Catholic religion is the one true religion”, which thus qualifies the proposition as “heresy”, a conclusion shared by a Dominican theologian. Since its publication on Feb. 4, the Pope’s Human Fraternity document has faced significant scrutiny from a myriad of notable sources, including Professor Roberto de Mattei, Bishop Athanasius Schneider, and Cardinal Gerhard Müller.
