DESCRIPTION

Dialogue Plus is a project that proposes series of public actions to motivate ethno- cultural relations and encourage youth engagement. The activities are organized by a multi-faceted advisory committee, bringing together young people, stakeholders and professionals.

A survey will be conducted in order to highlight the actual situation of multicultural relations in the participating cities. The creation of a ‘‘Youth in actions’’ committee, as well as the organisation of public discussion groups on intercultural dialogue will be held in . Scope

The first Forum Dialogue + held on Friday, March 24th, 2017 in Sherbrooke (Qc) on the topic ‘‘The intercultural dialogue in response to discrimination, prejudices, and radicalisation among youth’’ was a success! Over 150 people from various backgrounds - political, municipal, health and social services, community services, immigration, economic, youth, employability – exchanged on these issues and set up an action plan for young people and decision- makers. The Dialogue Plus flag has been given to our collaborator the Centre de santé communautaire Hamilton. Other forums Dialogue + will be held in cities of Moncton, Québec and here in Ottawa.
