A Very Special Thank You To... KANSAS CARRADINE for her time and effort she spent with our star, Michael Paul Hirsch, teaching him the rope tricks that her uncle, Keith Carradine, used when he performed the role of Will Rogers on Broadway. Kansas is the daughter of David Carradine, star of the 1970’s TV series, Kung Fu, and granddaughter of John Carradine, also a famous Hollywood character actor. She grew up riding horses and eventually went on to star for seven years in the circus-based show, Cavalia. She lives in Canada with her husband, choreographer Alain Gauthier, and two daughters, Phoenix Rose and Bodhi, but took time from her busy schedule in March to come to San Jose to show Michael “the ropes”! We are very grateful to Kansas for sharing her time and expertise with our cast.
