Fact Sheet: Vivid Sydney at Luna Park
In its second year, the ever-grinning Luna Park Sydney dazzles again after dark for Vivid Sydney. The entire Amusement Park comes alive with brilliant shapes, patterns and colours that lights the Midway promenade and enhance high-octane rides such as the new family thrill ride – Volaré. Situated opposite the Ferris Wheel, with thousands of LED lights shining brightly, the Volaré will perfectly complement the spectacular light show, A Kaleidoscopic Tale, adorning the Ferris Wheel for the duration of the festival.

Spirit Of Fun – Coney Island celebrates the unique history and magic of Luna Park with a grand projection on its exterior. The ‘Spirit of Fun’ brings to life the artwork, characters and soul of the Park and opens a window into its future of fun.
A Kaleidoscopic Tale – Experience an explosion of colour, light and music as A Kaleidoscopic Tale illuminates more than 3,000 LED lights on the Ferris Wheel every night to reveal the many facets of Luna Park Sydney. It is a tale woven into the fabric of Sydney’s psyche; perhaps even part of your story was written at Luna Park.
Street Performers – Roving street performers in striking costumes embellished with LED lights are sure to delight guests of the precinct and also take excellent selfies!
ALTUM Vivid Sydney Dining Experience – ALTUM Restaurant is the ideal location for dining before experiencing the many light installations on offer within the Luna Park precinct. Boasting some of the best views of Sydney Harbour, treat yourself to a tantalising Mediterranean inspired menu while feasting your eyes on Vivid Sydney with two or three course menus available.
