Hollywood Dream - The Ride was born in March 2007 as a novel roller coaster with a variety of cutting-edge functions which allow guests to experience a floating feeling as if they were flying in the sky, as well as extreme thrills and exhilaration. The roller coaster was developed by combining original ideas of the Universal Studios Japan Attraction Development Team and technologies of Bolliger & Mabillard (hereinafter "B & M"), a world-top Switzerland-based roller coaster manufacturer that leads the industry with its overwhelming technologies and design capabilities. During the ride guests can enjoy its smooth and thrilling performance, with favorite music selectable from several options, and the landscape of streets of Hollywood Area spread out below their eyes. The vehicle, blinking with LED lights, looks like a mysterious shooting star. Hollywood Dream - The Ride has continued to enjoy great popularity as a roller coaster that offers guests a new experience and excitement every time they ride. Specially introduced for limited period only! Extremely scary and thrilling roller coaster suddenly descending backwards at an unbelievably steep angle!! This world’s-best quality roller coaster will have a special version for a limited period only. It is Hollywood Dream - The Ride - Backdrop - that runs on the tracks “backwards” *1. Guests scream from sheer scariness, since on the vehicle they fall headfirst from the height of 43 meters, the highest point of the course at the maximum incline of approximately 60 degrees. During the ride, guests are lifted up, and then suddenly descend backwards while facing with the sky, experiencing even stronger floating feeling when they are thrown out in the sky. The super-novel roller coaster on which guests cannot predict which direction it moves makes guests feel ultimate thrills and stimulus, and super-exhilarated feeling. The body colors of the special vehicles were renewed to vivid red and gold from mild purple, based on the theme "ultimately stimulating and exhilarated feeling" obtained from the ride experience the new coaster provides. Tunes guests listened to during the ride are specially re-selected so that they can feel even stronger thrills. With these excellent functions the super novel roller coaster will be presented for guests all over the world. *1 The traveling direction of the vehicle is the same as conventional coasters, but the seats face the opposite direction. Guests' backs face the traveling direction. Features of Hollywood Dream - The Ride Three best qualities enabled extraordinarily luxury and comfortable ride, as well as ultimate feeling of flying and exhilaration [1] Roller coaster vehicles meticulously designed and manufactured with joint efforts of Japanese and Swiss engineers, incorporating cutting edge technologies Smooth and comfortable ride was enabled by quality rails meticulously designed and manufactured by B & M and Japanese engineers' elaborate rail laying technology that completely eliminated fine misalignments in the both sides of the rails, a cause of horizontal oscillation. On the underlayer (box beam) of the track (a total length of 1,267 meters), sand is filled as an acoustic absorbent to minimize gliding noises to the utmost. The vehicles designed and manufactured in Switzerland, and the seamless track assembled in Japan offer guests a super-smooth ride experience. In addition, the shape of seats, fitting very comfortably and closely to human body, was designed based on ergonomics. Bucket seats (single-seat) of the vehicles adopt safety restraint system to fix from the hip to thighs only. This system was employed for the first time in Japan so that the bodies of guests are firmly embraced by the seat even when their feet do not touch on the floor. The vehicle seats realized relaxing and luxurious ride like a classy car by combining novel idea that do not fix guest's upper body, representing state-of-the-art technology that enables high level of safety in a well-balanced manner. The engineers’ commitment to pursuing creation of best quality products in addition to an innovative idea “Air Time”*2 which was created by a perfectly designed railway course, provides guests with an ultimately exhilarating and floating feeling as if they were flying in the sky.

READ THIS SCRIPT ONLINE, BUT PLEASE DON’T PRINT OR COPY IT! The Prodigal Clown Come One, Come All . Come Home! Created by Cyndi Nine • Rob Howard • David Guthrie (music begins to “When the Circus Comes to Town”) (A girl in work clothes, pushing a broom and pulling a trashcan on wheels, comes across the stage.) SWEEPER: Oh, hello … just doin’ a little cleanup here. I usually show up when there’s some kinda mess to take care of, and it looks like somebody has left quite a mess on this street! (picks up a crumpled piece of paper) Now, what’s this? “Come one, come all, and see The Amazing Parabalini Family Circus.” Oh, I know all about them. This is no ordinary circus. They definitely have their share of spectacular performers, but they have also had their share of heartaches along the way. You might benefit from their story … if, you have ears to hear. And speaking of ears to hear, do you hear that? Sounds like a parade. If I’m not mistaken, I’d say the circus is coming to town … a very special circus indeed! (She smiles and sweeps off stage, picking up a few more pieces of trash as she goes.) SONG: “WHEN THE CIRCUS COMES TO TOWN” When the Circus Comes to Town verse 1 Once a year we’ll visit your town Set all our colorful tents around Every night there’s a show or two A must-see spectacle just for you chorus Come on everyone you won’t believe The thrilling stunts you’re about to see There’s nothing like it, it’s the biggest show around When the circus comes to town Be amazed at the flying trapeze The lion tamer in the center ring Get up
