Restoration and Maintenance Committee: Guild Maintenance Officer, Technical Adviser and two representatives from each District. 2 INDEX AND DIRECTORY OF TOWERS The following table is used to show the condition of the ring: 10 - Excellent, Ball bearings, modern frame and fittings. 9 - Excellent, Plain bearings, modern frame and fittings - or ball bearings in an old frame. 8 - Good going order. 7 - Fair going order. 6 - Poor going order. 5 - Ringable if cleaned up and odd fittings and ropes provided. 4 - Ringable with difficulty and a degree of risk after making odd repairs. 3 - Unringable mainly because of tower and/or frame arrangement and position. 2 - Unringable mainly because of frame and/or fittings. 1 - Hung dead. 0 - Some bells unhung on the ground. While every effort has boon made to ensure that the information given is accurate, the Technical Adviser would be very pleased to hoar of any corrections.
