Jeff's mother Pat Lawrence bred under the name von Waldheim from the 70's to early 90's. Patrice's parents Phil and Jane Gray are Owlwatch Great Danes and began breeding and showing from the 70's up to the present. Both Jeff and Patrice were active in Junior showmanship from an early age. During this time they have many fond memories of traveling to shows with their parents and showing the Great Danes. While both were in college, Jeff at Northern Illinois University and Patrice at Ball State University, they met again and hit it off. They were married in 1992. In October of 1995 their daughter Tristen was born. She was born while the GDCA National in San Diego, CA was happening. Since 1990, this is the only National they have missed together. For the past 25 years Jeff and Patrice have guided From the Great Dane Club of America, Inc well over 200 Danes to their AKC Championships. to All the Breeders who make this futurity possible..... Some other handling highlights include: All Breed Best in Shows on 8 different Danes, National Specialty BOB 5 times, Best in Futurity 3 times, Top 20 wins twice, National Specialty OUR SINCEREST THANKS Winners Dog or Winner Bitch on 10 occasions. They also have had at least 1 or 2 Specials ranked in the Top 20 yearly since 2000. Showing Great Danes has afforded Jeff and Patrice the 9 10 opportunity to travel the U.S. , England, the Netherlands and Japan showing for their 2017 FUTURITY CLASSES clients. They are very proud of their daughter Tristen who will turn 22 this Tuesday the 17th. She is a PUPPY DOGS 3-5 MONTHS Senior at Ball State University and shares her parents passion for the Great Dane.
