True Blue John Williamson LUNCHEON

There is no question that John Williamson is the real deal, stands by what he represents and Tuesday 7th November is unashamedly proud of the country he loves. River Room, Twin Towns 11am Qld For this artist, whilst the awards are a nice recognition, it is the reaction from his audience that is most important to him. It all started for Williamson when he penned Buffet-style Luncheon, includes mains the classic back in 1970. From $55 (fish, pork, chicken, beef) & his silly song (as he often refers to it) that Chef's selection of desserts spent five weeks at the top of the charts, he has continued to create hits including True Blue, Cootamundra Wattle, , and Galleries of Pink Galahs, just a few of the 400-plus songs written by this multi-award-winning . Call him what you want: , True Blue or just plain Fair Dinkum; but there is no denying that after more than 40 years in the music industry, John Williamson is truly an Australian icon. John Williamson plays Twin Towns Showroom on Saturday 2 December, 8pm Qld. Tickets are $49; children under 14 $33.
