The list has been divided into the 14 subject areas shown below. Most of these sections are further divided into sub-sections for ease of use. The articles are arranged in date order within each sub-section. Inevitably, some articles might legitimately fit into more than one section. However, to conserve space only a small number of articles are listed in more than one location. The user should therefore search all relevant sections and especially the first section which deals with particular locations as these articles often cover a wide range of topics. Society visits, obituaries, book reviews and very short articles have not been listed. However they may be found in the chronological listing of all articles on the Society's website at www.gsia.org.uk/journ.htm for Journals and www.gsia.org.uk/newslett.htm for the Newsletters. In addition, an index to all Newsletters and Journals up to 1999 may be found at www.gsia.org.uk/gsiaind.htm . Printed indexes may be found in Newsletters 5 (1965), 9 (1967) and 13 (1969) and the Journals for 1980, 1990 and 2000. 1. Articles Relating to Particular Locations 2.
