Traffic Advice Re-routeing of KMB Route No. 43P (Tsuen Wan West Station – Hong Kong Science Park) Members of the public are advised that with effect from 14 September 2020 (Monday), the routeing of KMB Route No. 43P (Tsuen Wan West Station – Hong Kong Science Park) will be altered. Details are as follows: Routeing via Tai Ho Road, Castle Peak Road, Shing Mun Road, Sai Lau Kok (Hong Kong Science Road, Wai Tsuen Road, Shek Wai Kok Road, Yi Pei Chun Road, Sam Park bound) Tung Uk Road, Wo Yi Hop Interchange, Cheung Pei Shan Road, Shing Mun Tunnel, Shing Mun Tunnel Road, Tai Po Road – Sha Tin, Tolo Highway, slip road, Chak Cheung Street, University Station Public Transport Interchange, Chak Cheung Street, Science Park Road and Science Park West Avenue. Tai Chung Kiu Road outside City One Shatin In response to the re-routeing of KMB Route No. 43P, a section fare of $6.4 of KMB Route No. 82C (Hong Kong Science Park bound) at the en-route stop of Ravana Garden, Tai Chung Kiu Road will be offered on the same day. Notices will be put up by the bus company to advise passengers of the above arrangements. .

LC Paper No. CB(1)449/19-20(03) For discussion on 17 March 2020 Legislative Council Panel on Commerce and Industry Latest Development of the Hong Kong Science Park and Industrial Estates Purpose This paper briefs Members on the latest development of the Hong Kong Science Park (“Science Park”) and the Industrial Estates (“IEs”). Background 2. Established in 2001, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (“HKSTPC”) is a statutory body wholly-owned by the Government. It provides one-stop infrastructural facilities and support services to the innovation and technology (“I&T”) sector. HKSTPC manages and operates the Science Park, three IEs, and the InnoCentre at Kowloon Tong. 3. The Science Park is Hong Kong’s flagship technology infrastructure. It plays an important role in encouraging R&D, supporting the development of local technology enterprises and fostering a vibrant I&T ecosystem. Together with the two new buildings completed in April 2019 under Stage 1 of the Science Park Expansion Programme (“SPX1”), the Science Park currently has 23 buildings with a gross floor area (“GFA”) of 400 000 square metres (“sq. m.”). The Science Park focuses on the development of five technology clusters, namely biomedical technology, electronics, green technology, information and communications technology, and material and precision engineering. As at end- January 2020, the occupancy rate of Phases 1 to 3 of the Science Park was about 84%1. Currently, there are around 800 local, Mainland and overseas research and development (“R&D”) companies operating in the Science Park with a working population of around 12 200. 1 Since some buildings/storeys of the Science Park will undergo renovation/alteration works or are reserved for the InnoHK Research Clusters, around 41 000 sq.

Information Note Strategic Cavern Area No. 09 – Ting
- 1 - CAVERN MASTER PLAN – INFORMATION NOTE STRATEGIC CAVERN AREA NO. 09 – TING KAU This Information Note describes the characteristics, key development opportunities and constraints of Strategic Cavern Area No. 09 - Ting Kau (the SCVA). It indicates the potential land uses suitable for cavern development within the area, but would not pre-empt other possible land uses put forward by the project proponents with justifications. It also denotes the extent of potential portal locations. The spatial context of the SCVA is illustrated in the Reference Drawing appended to this Information Note. Reference should be made to the Explanatory Statement of the Cavern Master Plan for its background and purposes, as well as the definition and delineation criteria of SCVAs. 1. Location Plan Information Note (SCVA09 – Ting Kau) - 2 - 2. Strategic Cavern Area Details Outline Zoning Plans (OZPs): Approved Tsuen Wan West OZP No. S/TWW/19 Approved Tsuen Wan OZP No. S/TW/33 Area: 82.2 ha Maximum elevation in the SCVA: +418 mPD Minimum elevation in the SCVA: +11 mPD 3. District Context Location The SCVA is located at Ting Kau in the western part of the New Territories. Yau Kom Tau is to the east of the SCVA, Sham Tseng is to the west, Tai Lam Country Park is to the north and Tsing Yi across Rambler Channel is to the south. The SCVA is generally hilly with a maximum elevation of about +418 mPD. The majority of the SCVA, including its northern and central portions, encroaches onto Tai Lam Country Park. Surrounding the SCVA, Ting Kau is a residential area with low-rise residential developments, including Royal Dragon Villa (about 50 m to the south of the SCVA) and a local village namely Ting Kau Village (about 150 m to the southwest of the SCVA).
