Learn more about Down the Line and Beyond Foundation

Greetings from Down the Line and Beyond!

This summer Down The Line partnered with the Freedoms to promote throughout the city of Philadelphia. Down The Line coaches, volunteers and ambassadors joined together with the players and staff of the Philadelphia Freedoms to serve up tennis in every corner of the city.

Down The Line Ambassador Program

DTLB ambassadors had a great summer, with five ambassadors (Ben Swanson, Sean Attebery, John Walsh, Holden Koons, Andrew Tran) represented USTA Middle States in the Zone Team National Level 2 Championships in Oklahoma City. Alex Mascioli also won a round in Kalamazoo this summer, the most prestigious tournament in America for up and coming juniors. Congratulations on being such great role models both on and off the court!

Down The Line Outreach Programs

The Down The Line and Beyond outreach programs this past summer were the most successful yet with over 800 children served at 12 different sites. These sites included three summer camps, four salvation armies, three schools, and two public parks.

A number of the children in the program participated in the Freedoms Junior Team Tennis Circuit, where they were able to play tennis against all of the Country Clubs in the area.
