Wednesday, April 15, 2020 7:30am Depart from Chestnut Memorial UMC, 1024 Harpersville Road, Newport News, VA for Mo- bile, AL with four additional pickup points in Mechanicsville, Staunton, Lexington and Salem, VA. You will make a fast food stop for lunch along the way. Upon arrival check into your hotel for the night, the Hampton Inn & Suites Knoxville-Turkey Creek, TN where your rooms are either king or two queen beds. Tonight's 3 course dinner will be at Lakeside Tavern in the Sunset Room offering a beautiful sunset view overlooking Lake Loudon. They feature steaks and dockside fresh seafood, grilled to perfection over hardwood coals. (D)

Thursday, April 16, 2020 A hot buffet Breakfast awaits you this morning at the hotel. Depart for Mobile, AL, your home for the next 5 days. Lunch and rest stops will be made along the way. After arrival at the Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel you will check in to your double queen or king room. The hotel is connected to the Mobile Convention Center via a skybridge. After some time to freshen up you will depart for a 3 course dinner at Dumbwaiter Restaurant. The original is located in the heart of the city and has best been described as "southern heritage cooking with a coastal flare". This intimate eatery is one of the Port City’s culinary hot spots. Housed in a historic building on Bienville Square, Dumbwaiter has a fun, slightly funky, retro feel due partially to the memorable moniker and has been featured on the Travel Chan- nel’s hit television show "". Friday, April May 17, 2020 Enjoy Breakfast at the hotel with your food voucher or save it for lunch or a dinner. Enjoy a 3-hour guided tour of Mobile. The tour includes historic districts, tours of Cathedral of the Immaculate Con- ception and Christ Church, points of interest on the African American History Trail and more. Lunch will be on your own at A Spot of Tea. Boasting a variety of sandwiches, soups and salads, all should find something to suit their taste. After lunch, your guide will give you a guided tour of the Mobile Carnival Museum. In the early 1700s, French pioneers were the first to celebrate Mardi Gras in the new world in Mobile. A few years later, it is believed that Mobile held the first Mardi Gras parade in North America. Return to the hotel after your day of touring and freshen up before conference begins this evening. Sunday, April 19, 2020 This morning enjoy Breakfast at the hotel before the morning session of conference. Upon conclu- sion, freshen up at the hotel before enjoying the afternoon at Bellingrath Gardens and Home. The gar- dens feature live oaks, camellias, azaleas, roses, and chrysanthemums year round. Plants featured in spring include more than 250,000 azaleas, hydrangeas, Easter lilies, impatiens, salvia, fuchsia, and Pe- largonium geraniums. The home was completed in 1935, encompasses 10,500 square feet and features hand-made brick salvaged in Mobile from the 1852 birthplace of Alva Smith Vanderbilt Belmont. Ironwork was obtained from the de- molished circa 1837 Southern Hotel, also in Mobile. The house design borrowed elements from many traditions and eras. Some of the most obvious are a formal Georgian staircase reminiscent of an English country house, French doors, and a Mediterranean courtyard. Lunch is available on your own at the Magnolia Café until 2:00PM with refreshments and snacks available after that time. After your visit, return to the hotel to freshen up before dinner at Wintzell’s Oyster House. The flagship location in downtown Mobile off Dauphin Street recently celebrated it’s 80th anniversary. Enjoy a plentiful buffet this evening at one of Mobile’s most treas- ured restaurants. (B,D)

Monday, April 20, 2020 Enjoy Breakfast at the hotel. Then head across the causeway for a sightseeing cruise on the Delta Explorer. This two-hour excur- sion showcases the incredible beauty and natural diversity of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta. Every one of these outings takes a slightly different course and features unique opportunities to view the abundance of the delta wildlife, such as eagles, ospreys and, of course, alligators. Afterwards, enjoy lunch on your own at Ed’s Seafood Shed, offering soups, salads, sandwiches and of course a wide variety of local seafood. After lunch, take a docent-guided tour of Oakleigh Historic Mansion. Oakleigh is a circa 1833 historic house museum is the centerpiece of the Oakleigh Historic Complex, a grouping of buildings that contain a working-class raised cottage, Union Barracks, and a modern archives building. Finally, spend a couple of hours at The History Museum of Mobile. Housed in the circa 1850’s Old City Hall, the exhibits 300 years of Mobile history. Permanent exhibits include: the Old Ways New Days exhibit that explores Mo- bile's history from colonization to the present, and the Walls and Halls exhibit featuring furniture, antique silver, artwork, and other artifacts. Return to the hotel to freshen up for dinner. The panorama spanning Mobile Bay is the first thing that wows you on arrival to the 34th floor of the Trustmark Building. Dramatic view meets distinctive dining at Dauphin’s, where you’ll enjoy sunset while savoring your farewell to Mo- bile dinner! (B,D)

Tuesday, April 21, 2020 Enjoy your last Breakfast in Mobile before checking out. Board your motorcoach and begin heading for Charlotte - Belmont, NC. Rest stops and a stop for lunch on your own will be taken along the way. Upon arrival, check into Holiday Inn Express Charlotte Air- port - Belmont. Check into your room and freshen up for dinner this evening. Welcome to The Old Stone Steakhouse! The restaurant sits amidst historic downtown Belmont in the beautifully restored Belmont Police Department, a building that has occupied Belmont’s Main Street for more than 100 years.
