Veteran’s Memorial Park was swarming with more than 320 people who enjoyed food, music and many carnival games in the MS KidZone. The event has raised over $27,000. The Starbucks crew came out to get Des Moines everyone going and ready to walk. A new location for the Des Moines Christopher & Banks MS Walk proved to be a great setting for a record- breaking event! The walk had 953 people registered and has raised over $105,000. Team V, headed by captain Veronica Fisher-Tewell holds the honor of being the top team out of the entire chapter’s walk teams, raising $13,920 so far! After entertainment from Creative Tom Novak’s Team was the top Movement Dance Studio and a warm- fundraising team for the 2006 Fargo up by the East High cheerleaders, Christopher & Banks MS Walk.
