Have you ever dreamed about “that one that got away?” If so, come join us as we throw in a line at the newly stocked and refurbished North Park Lake! From our lakefront shelter, come for a great day of fishing & relaxation. Hot dog cookout included! Participants should have fishing experience and need to bring your own fishing pole, tackle box items and weather gear. You must pay a $10.00 fishing fee for the day to cover bait, food and snacks. LIKE TO BIKE (Sessions 1, 2, 3, 4) YOU MUST ATTEND ALL 4 SESSIONS Sponsored by Mrs. Keller, Mrs. Moschetta, and Mr. Murslack. Attention to all bike enthusiasts! Come along and spend the day biking through the trails at Moraine State Park. All grade levels are welcome, and some prior biking experience is necessary. We enjoy the great outdoors biking and have lunch in the fresh air of the state park. You will rent a bike in the park and there is a bus fee. The total cost for this course is approximately $25. WAKE UP YOUR INNER (Sessions 1, 2, 3, and 4) YOU MUST ATTEND ALL 4 SESSIONS Sponsored by Mrs. Castner and Mrs. Granite. Explore the art and process of ’s own, . We will travel to in to participate in a workshop examining the many ways in which Warhol created portraits throughout his career, from painting and polaroids to silk-screening and selfies. We will have the opportunity to create silkscreened projects using the same methods Warhol used to create his iconic style. The cost of the trip is 15 dollars. PITT TOUR (Sessions 1, 2, 3) YOU MUST ATTEND ALL 3 SESSIONS Sponsored by Mr. Mascari and Mrs. Bayer. In this course you will travel to the Cathedral of Learning, part of the University of Pittsburgh’s campus in Oakland. You will take a guided tour of more than 20 rooms decorated to reflect the styles of a variety of cultures. You will gain an understanding of the history of the rooms as well as the process behind constructing them. This course will run sessions 1, 2, & 3. You will need to bring a bagged lunch to eat on the trip. The cost of this course is $6 (includes tour and bus).

A day at the Science Center is filled with science adventures guaranteed to ignite the "wow! hmm...aha!" in all of us. Defy gravity on Highmark SportsWorks® newest exhibit! The Ropes Challenge will challenge your sense of balance and enjoyment of heights as you navigate obstacles, "walk the plank," and then zoom down a zipline! AWESOME PITTSBURGH ZOO AND PPG AQUIARIUM (Sessions 2, 3, AND 4) YOU MUST ATTEND ALL 3 SESSIONS Sponsored by Mrs. Catanzaro along with Mr. Furlong, Mrs. Leasure, Mrs. Mastroianni, and Mrs. Voll. Come along on the bus to the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium and view the natural habitats of your favorite animals. Lion and tigers and bears . . . oh my! Your admission cost is 11.00 plus $3.00 transportation for the bus ride to and from the zoo - total fee $14.00. Don't forget to bring extra money for lunch at the zoo and for souvenirs to take home at the end of the day! Come tour Monte Cellos, learn about the art of pizza making, and get the opportunity to test it out yourself! A small fee will be set at a later date. FUN FORE ALL (Sessions 2 AND 3) YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS Sponsored by Mrs. Hull, Mrs. Panza, and Ms. Coulter. Enjoy two hours of unlimited miniature golf, go-karts & bumper boats (weather permitting), batting cages, and games at Cranberry’s Fun-Fore-All park. Travel to Get Air Pittsburgh to jump around on the thousands of square feet side by side trampolines and dive into the foam pits. Cost will be around $19. LACE N’SKATE @ LEMIEUX SPORTS COMPLEX

2 (Sessions 2 AND 3) YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS Sponsored by Mrs. Hunter, Mrs. Ruiz, and Mrs. McConnell. Students will have the opportunity to tour the new Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry. They will also be given time to skate on the same rink that the Penguins practice on. The fee is $8.00 for admission, skate rental, and transportation. Students can either pack their own lunch or purchase a slice of pizza, fruit, and a drink for an additional $4.00. WILDWOOD HIGHLANDS (Sessions 2 AND 3) YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS Sponsored by Mr. Williams and Mrs.Steele. Come enjoy the fun of a day (or at least sessions 2&3) at Wildwood Highlands. Bumper-Boats, Laser-Tag, Mini-golf, go-karts, and many other hyphenated adventures wait! HIKE, SWIM, SWIM, HIKE (Sessions 3 AND 4) YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS Sponsored by Mr. Scheller. We will take a 20 minute hike to Camp Woodlands off of Shenot Road. We will then swim and play pool games in their large, heated indoor pool for two hours before our return hike. A changing room and a lifeguard are available. ARCHEOLOGY 101 (Session 4 only) Sponsored by Mr. McClain. Do you like learning about history and the past? Have you ever wondered?: What is beneath our feet? Who was here before us? What did they leave behind? 4 If you answered “yes” to any of these, then this course might be the one for you! Join us as we learn about the field of archaeology. Archaeology is the study of past people through the things they leave behind. This course will include a brief classroom introduction to what archaeology is and what archaeologists do, followed by a hands-on archaeology investigation right in Marshall Middle’s backyard. Through this course, you will be able to get a taste of what it is like to be an archaeologist by searching and finding artifacts! (Note: this course will include digging in the dirt. 3-on-3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT (Session 1, 2, 3, OR 4) Sponsored by Mr. Soxman and Mr. Schmitt. Each team will consist of four players with one sub that will rotate throughout each game. There will be a maximum of 8 teams for each session. Teams will be chosen prior to mini- 6 course day to assure that skill level is equitably distributed. The first 10 minutes of each session will be spent arranging the teams and going over the rules. Games will last 8 minutes each. There will be five rounds with five minutes in between each round to coordinate brackets and arrange the next round. Dry run meeting room: 210
