WEST PALM INVITATIONAL ACC TOURNAMENT •Tech will head back down south to compete in another tournament, •The 2019 ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament will take place at this time in West Palm, Florida on December 20 and 21. CARILION CLINIC COURT CASSELL COLISEUM, THE HOME OF THE HOKIES The court at Cassell Coliseum received a make- over during the summer months in 2017 . Three For more than half a century, Cassell Coliseum has provided Virginia Tech with one of the iconic campus landmarks, Torgersen Bridge, Bur- greatest home venues in all of college sports . Winning has been the norm in the facility since its opening in 1961, and Cassell is perhaps even more exciting today than ever in russ Hall and the Pylons are depicted on the court, its history . in addition to a Hokie Stone design surrounding the playing surface . Featured prominently near Cassell serves as the home to Virginia Tech women’s basketball, volleyball and wrestling midcourt is the logo of Carilion Clinic, a proud programs, and in 2010-11, the Virginia Tech athletics department celebrated Cassell’s supporter of Virginia Tech Athletics . The court was 50th anniversary by bringing back many of the former great players and coaches in named Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum various sports who have played in the arena . That summer, Tech added a new score- officials hired Panasonic to install two new video scoreboards with high-definition LED board to Lane Stadium and the athletics marketing displays on each end of the arena .
