Virginia Tech Program in Real Estate’s REAL Career Event will be held at the Casell Coliseum (Basketball stadium) in Blacksburg, from 6-8PM on January 28th, 2020. This career fair is a wonderful opportunity to network and discuss potential internship and career opportunities within your company and the real estate industry with over 350 qualified Real Estate majors and other majors from across campus. Company Set Up: 5:00PM - 6:00 PM Event: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

We will be offering space and time for companies to interview students if they would like. Interviews will take place in Smith Career Center from 9 AM to 12 PM on Wednesday, Janauary 29th. Companies do not have to interview students to participate in the Career Event. Space is limited, time slots filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Student Attendance

This past semester we had over 70 students attend our REAL Career Event with many different majors. Registration Fee

The cost for the REAL Career Event is $350 per company. This includes a draped table, two chairs, recognition on the Program in Real Estate website, and hors d'oeuvres.

To submit your fee online, go to https://webapps.es.vt.edu/givingto/gift, select "College of Business- Pamplin" then select "Dr. Daniel Wubah Operating-Real Estate Annual Fund" and then check "Honorary" gift and enter "REAL Career Event."

To submit your fee via check, mail a check made out to the Program in Real Estate with "REAL Career Reception - Fund 875865" in the memo. Checks can be mailed to:

The major offers Real Estate courses that integrate the material students learn in disciplinary courses such as finance, law, and property management through practical experiences within the academic program. The integration occurs through a university-industry partnership where real estate professionals are actively involved in students’ education through guest lectures and mentoring experiences and by providing internship opportunities.
