Lesson 3: Bradbury Short Story Assignment
Steps: 1. Choose one of the Bradbury Short Stories form the List: “A Sound of Thunder” “There Will Come Soft Rains” “Dark They Were, and Golden-Eyed” “The Last Night of the World” “The Fog Horn” “The Million Year Picnic” “The Pedestrian” 2. Google the story – these are all in the public domain and free online. Any digital text is acceptable. 3. Complete the “One Pager” Assignment (found on Schoology.com)Students will analyze significant quotes, symbolism, theme and character interactions of the story. Represent these through pictures and words. You may draw and color or complete on the computer. The template for this assignment is located in
Folder #3 on Schoology. 4. Turn in to “Discussion Post” in Folder #3 on Schoology. If printed and colored, take a picture or scan and then submit.
