The adverts feature Ada Hegerberg, Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba, Cristiano Ronaldo and amateur players and will run throughout the season to promote inclusion, diversity and accessibility in European Football with the motto "Everyone has the right to enjoy football, no matter who you are, where you're from, or how you play." More information on the campaign and on the advertisements can be found in the accompanying media release and on the campaign website: www.equalgame.com. Young Boys may need to raise their game as they welcome Partizan in UEFA Europa League Group B. Previous meetings • The teams are meeting for the first time in UEFA competition. • In their only past encounters with Serbian opposition, Young Boys were eliminated by Crvena zvezda in the 2004/05 UEFA Champions League second qualifying round – drawing 2-2 at home but losing 3-0 in Belgrade. • Partizan were knocked out of the 2013/14 UEFA Europa League play-offs by Swiss rivals, following up a 1-0 victory against Thun with a 3-0 loss in Switzerland. Young Boys' Sékou Sanogo featured in both legs for Thun. Form guide • Swiss Super League runners-up last term, Young Boys have won three of their last four European home matches, including August's UEFA Champions League third qualifying round scalp of Dynamo Kyiv. • Partizan are unbeaten in five European away fixtures (W2 D3). • Defeated home and away by CSKA Moskva in the UEFA Champions League play-offs, Young Boys are now competing in the UEFA Europa League group stage for the fifth time, having made it through twice in four appearances. • Serbian league and cup winners in 2016/17, Partizan have reached the UEFA Europa League group stage for the fifth time in the competition's current incarnation, but are yet to progress to the round of 32. Links and trivia • The journey from Belgrade to Berne is just over 1,000km. • Young Boys' Miralem Sulejmani started his career at Partizan but made just one brief substitute appearance in November 2005 before being signed by Heerenveen. • Partizan's Everton Bilher played in Switzerland with Lugano (2013–14) and St Gallen (2014–16). • Partizan's Nemanja Antonov is on loan from another Swiss side, Grasshoppers, whom he joined in 2015. The coaches • Austrian coach Adi Hütter has been in charge of Young Boys since September 2015. A midfielder who spent the bulk of his career with Salzburg, he returned to lead the club to a domestic double in 2014/15 after managerial spells at Altach and Grödig. • Miroslav Djukić was assigned a second stint as Partizan coach in June 2017, having occupied the helm in 2007. The 48-times capped Yugoslavia sweeper played in Spain with Deportivo and Valencia, and spent much of the last decade coaching there too. 3 BSC Young Boys - FK Partizan Thursday 14 September 2017 - 19.00CET (19.00 local time) Match press kit Stade de Suisse, Berne Team facts BSC Young Boys Formed: 1898 Nickname: YB, Die Gelb-Schwarzen (Yellow and Blacks) UEFA club competition honours (runners-up in brackets) • None Domestic honours (most recent triumph in brackets) League title: 11 (1986) Swiss Cup: 6 (1987) Ten-year European record (UEFA Europa League/UEFA Cup unless indicated otherwise) 2016/17: group stage (having transferred from UEFA Champions League play-offs) 2015/16: play-offs (having transferred from UEFA Champions League third qualifying round) 2014/15: round of 32 2013/14: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2012/13: group stage 2011/12: play-offs 2010/11: round of 32 (having transferred from UEFA Champions League play-offs) 2009/10: third qualifying round 2008/09: first round 2007/08: second qualifying round Records UEFA club competition • Biggest home win 5-0: Young Boys v Slovan Bratislava 18/09/14, UEFA Europa League group stage • Biggest away win 0-5: Limerick v Young Boys 31/08/60, European Champion Clubs' Cup preliminary round • Heaviest home defeat 0-5: Young Boys v Hamburg 02/11/60, European Champion Clubs' Cup first round first leg • Heaviest away defeat 6-0: Steaua Bucureşti v Young Boys 03/10/79, UEFA Cup Winners' Cup first round second leg UEFA Europa League/UEFA Cup • Biggest home win 5-0: Young Boys v Slovan Bratislava (see above) • Biggest away win 0-3: Midtjylland v Young Boys 23/08/12, play-off first leg • Heaviest home defeat 1-4: Young Boys v Everton 19/02/15, round of 32 first leg • Heaviest away defeat 5-1: Lens v Young Boys 30/08/07, second qualifying round second leg FK Partizan Formed: 1945 Nickname: Crno-beli (Black-and-Whites) UEFA club competition honours (runners-up in brackets) • European Champion Clubs' Cup: (1966) Domestic honours (most recent triumph in brackets) League title: 27 (2017) 4 BSC Young Boys - FK Partizan Thursday 14 September 2017 - 19.00CET (19.00 local time) Match press kit Stade de Suisse, Berne Yugoslavian/Serbian Cup: 14 (2017) Ten-year European record (UEFA Europa League/UEFA Cup unless indicated otherwise) 2016/17: second qualifying round 2015/16: group stage (having transferred from UEFA Champions League play-offs) 2014/15: group stage (having transferred from UEFA Champions League third qualifying round) 2013/14: play-offs (having transferred from UEFA Champions League third qualifying round) 2012/13: group stage (having transferred from UEFA Champions League third qualifying round) 2011/12: play-offs (having transferred from UEFA Champions League third qualifying round) 2010/11: UEFA Champions League group stage 2009/10: group stage (having transferred from UEFA Champions League third qualifying round) 2008/09: group stage (having transferred from UEFA Champions League third qualifying round) 2007/08: first qualifying round Records UEFA club competition • Biggest home win 8-0: Partizan v Rhyl 21/07/09, UEFA Champions League second qualifying round second leg • Biggest away win 1-6: Zrinjski v Partizan 19/07/07, UEFA Cup first qualifying round first leg 0-5: Slavia Sofia v Partizan 12/10/88, UEFA Cup first round second leg • Heaviest home defeat 0-4: Partizan v Beşiktaş 23/10/14, UEFA Europa League group stage • Heaviest away defeat 5-0 on three occasions, most recently v Dinamo Zagreb 30/07/97, UEFA Champions League first qualifying round second leg UEFA Europa League/UEFA Cup • Biggest home win 5-0 twice, most recently v Slavia Sofia 07/09/88, first round first leg • Biggest away win 1-6: Zrinjski v Partizan (see above) 0-5: Slavia Sofia v Partizan (see above) • Heaviest home defeat 0-4: Partizan v Beşiktaş (see above) • Heaviest away defeat 5-0: Videoton v Partizan 28/11/84, UEFA Cup third round first leg 5 BSC Young Boys - FK Partizan Thursday 14 September 2017 - 19.00CET (19.00 local time) Match press kit Stade de Suisse, Berne Squad list BSC Young Boys Current season All-time UCL UEL League UEL UEFA No. Player Nat.
