Pemerintah terus menjaga momentum perbaikan ekonomi dengan tetap mengedepankan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Infrastruktur transportasi termasuk salah satu yang mendapat perhatian pemerintah untuk dikembangkan. Pengembangan sistem transportasi mengarah pada pengembangan moda transportasi massal untuk perkotaan, pengembangan jaringan kereta api nasional, serta mempersiapkan integrasi antar moda dan integrasi ke bandara. BPPT sebagai lembaga pemerintah yang melakukan pengkajian dan penerapan teknologi di Indonesia berkomitmen untuk mendorong terus kemajuan pembangunan nasional melalui inovasi teknologi. Salah satu bentuk kontribusi BPPT dalam mendukung program pemerintah adalah penerbitan buku Outlook Energi Indonesia. Penerbitan sudah secara rutin dilaksanakan dan tahun ini merupakan terbitan yang kesepuluh. Sejalan dengan kebijakan pemerintah dalam pengembangan sistem transportasi, maka dalam buku Outlook Energi Indonesia 2018 ini mengambil tema khusus “Energi Berkelanjutan untuk Transportasi Darat”. Dengan pengembangan sistem transportasi berkelanjutan diharapkan mampu mendorong penggunaan moda transportasi yang ramah lingkungan guna menggerakkan ekonomi nasional namun tidak meninggalkan masalah di masa mendatang. Temuan dan rekomendasi dalam buku ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat luas serta seluruh pemangku kepentingan yang terkait dengan pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan energi. Unggul Priyanto, M.Sc. iii INDONESIA ENERGY OUTLOOK 2018 FOREWORD Indonesia’s economy in the last 5 years continues to improve along with the consistent infrastructure development that focuses on equitable distribution. The Government maintains the momentum of economic improvement by continuing to promote sustainable development. Transportation infrastructure is one aspect that gets the Government’s attention to progress further. The development of transportation system leads to the development of mass transportation modes for urban areas, the development of national rail networks, as well as modes integration and network integration to airports. BPPT as a government agency that conducts assessment and application of technology in Indonesia is committed to push forward the advance of national development through technological innovation. One form of BPPT’s contribution in supporting government programs is the publication of Outlook Energy Indonesia. BPPT’s Outlook Energy Indonesia has been regularly published and this year is the tenth issue. In line with the Government policy in developing the transportation system, Outlook Energy Indonesia 2018 takes a special theme “Sustainable Energy for Land Transportation”. The development of sustainable transportation system is expected to encourage the use of environmentally friendly modes of transport that drives the national economy but does not leave problem for the future. The findings and recommendations in this book are expected to be a reference for the Government and the wider community and all stakeholders related to energy management and utilization. Finally, we would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to the drafting team and all parties who have supported and assisted in the preparation of this book. The convent, established in 1854 in central Singapore, is now the ‗premier lifestyle destination‘, CHIJMES. I show that the Sisters were early providers of social services and girls‘ education, with an orphanage, women‘s refuge and schools for girls. They survived the turbulent years of the Japanese Occupation of Singapore and adapted to the priorities of the new government after independence, expanding to become the largest cloistered convent in Southeast Asia.

    1 Annex A Singapore's First Mass Rapid Transit System The North-South and East-West Lines of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) System, with 42 stations and costing S$5 billion, was fully completed in July 1990, within budget and schedule. The engineering work was massive and complex. Over the course of the project, Singapore engineers acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to develop other MRT lines. It was re-known as the world’s first metro system with Platform Screen Doors that save on energy. Today the MRT system carries about 2 million passengers per day. It serves the densely populated towns and brings the commuters directly into high employment centres and the CBD. It also serves the three regional centres. By providing good accessibility, it supports the economic growth and enhances the social well-being of Singapore residents. It has enabled dense urban development in land-scarce Singapore. The MRT was a major milestone in the transformation of Singapore into a modern metropolis. Driverless Mass Rapid System (North East Line) The North East Line (NEL) is the world’s first fully automated underground driverless heavy rail rapid transit line, consisting of 16 stations and stretching 20km from Punggol to HarbourFront. NEL was conceptualised as a fully automated railway with high level of system integration. At that time, new cutting edge technologies for the signalling, communication, rolling stock and integrated supervisory control systems were employed, such as microwave signalling transmission, digital trunk radio, Communication Backbone Network, in-car CCTV monitoring and fully integrated control system. One technology critical in driverless trains is the Automatic Train Operation System, which performs functions previously handled by the train driver.

With advances in smart mobility, mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) schemes allow passengers to book a combined ticket for all their trip legs. This detailed information about the origins and destinations of door-to-door trips offers the opportunity to coordinate the schedules of public transport lines to reduce the door-to-door passenger travel times. In this study, we model the coordination problem of feeder and collector lines by explicitly considering the regularity of the feeder lines and the transfer times of passengers. The coordination problem is modeled as a nonlinear non-convex problem and reformulated to an easy-to-solve convex optimization problem. We test the performance of our approach in a case study with feeder and collector lines in Singa- pore showing an improvement potential of 5-10% in door-to-door passenger travel times.
