Course/Module description: The course will engage the oeuvre of one of the greatest cinematic auteurs of the 20th century, and will outline stylistic and thematic developments in his oeuvre.

Course/Module aims: Students shall be acquainted with contemporary developments in Fellini studies and in film theory in general.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to: The students shall be able to analyze a cinematic work, and will widen their knowledge of film history and theory

Attendance requirements(%): 80

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: Lectue + projection of short film excerpts + discussion
