HORSE EXPO

• Wednesday closed

• Saturday 10:00-22:00
• Sunday 10:00-18:30 HELSINKI INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW JUMPS GREEN
In 2018 Helsinki International Horse Show has jumped on a sustainable event project. Thanks to Fortum HorsePower concept all power and electricity of the event is produced 100 % of horse manure. All horse manure from the Horse Show is transported to a near by power plant where it is turned into energy. We are committed to reduce and recycle waste, we choose mainly only eco-friendly materials and we work for green transport choices.
We invite all riders and grooms to take part in our project. Part of the event eco plan, riders and grooms have been given an empty bottle for drinking water. Finland’s tap water is among the highest quality in the world and is not only completely safe but a pleasure to drink. In Finland tap water has been found to be significantly cleaner bottled water. You will find water taps in several places around the arena to fill your bottles.
You will also find some bicycles at Hotel Scandic Park at your disposal. The bicycle ride from the hotel to the venue is 1.5 km and takes approx. 5 minutes. Instead of a shuttle service ride we invite you to take a lovely bicycle ride in fresh air.
Please notice, that there are waste bins around the venue, stables and horse truck parking area. Please help us keep the stables and truck parking area clean!
