Appendix Iv Property Valuation THIS DOCUMENT IS IN DRAFT FORM, INCOMPLETE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND THE INFORMATION MUST BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SECTION HEADED “WARNING” ON THE COVER OF THIS DOCUMENT. APPENDIX IV PROPERTY VALUATION The following is the text of a letter, summary of values and valuation certificates prepared for the purpose of incorporation in this document received from Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Appraisal and Advisory Limited, an independent valuer, in connection with its valuation as 30 April 2021 of the selected property interests held by the Group. C-030171 [●] 2021 The Board of Directors China Tourism Group Duty Free Corporation Limited 8/F, Building A No. A2 Dongzhimenwai Xiaojie Dongcheng District Beijing PRC Dear Sirs, In accordance with your instructions to value the selected property interests held by China Tourism Group Duty Free Corporation Limited (the “Company”) and its subsidiaries (hereinafter together referred to as the “Group”) in the People’s Republic of China (the “PRC”), we confirm that we have carried out inspections, made relevant enquiries and searches and obtained such further information as we consider necessary for the purpose of providing you with our opinion on the market values of the property interests as at 30 April 2021 (the “valuation date”). For the purpose of this report, we classified these properties as the property interests relating to “property activities” which mean holding (directly or indirectly) and/or development of properties for letting or retention as investments, or the purchase or development of properties for subsequent sale, or for subsequent letting or retention as investments. Furthermore, we have adopted the below guidance on what constitutes a property interest: (a) one or more units in the same building or complex; (b) one or more properties located at the same address or lot number; (c) one or more properties comprising an integrated facility; –IV-1– THIS DOCUMENT IS IN DRAFT FORM, INCOMPLETE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND THE INFORMATION MUST BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SECTION HEADED “WARNING” ON THE COVER OF THIS DOCUMENT. APPENDIX IV PROPERTY VALUATION (d) one or more properties, structures or facilities comprising a property development project (even if there are different phases); (e) one or more properties held for investment within one complex; (f) one or more properties, structures or facilities located contiguously to each other or located on adjoining lots and used for the same or similar operational/business purposes; or (g) a project or phases of development presented to the public as one whole project or forming a single operating entity. Our valuation is carried out on a market value basis. Market value is defined as “the estimated amount for which an asset or liability should exchange on the valuation date between a willing buyer and a willing seller in an arm’s-length transaction, after proper marketing and where the parties had each acted knowledgeably, prudently and without compulsion”. We have valued the property interest in Group I which is held for investment by the Group by the income approach by taking into account the net rental income of the property derived from the existing leases and/or achievable in the existing market with due allowance for the reversionary income potential of the leases, which have been then capitalized to determine the market value at an appropriate capitalization rate. Where appropriate, reference has also been made to the comparable sales transactions as available in the relevant market. In valuing the property interest in Group II which is currently under construction, we have assumed that it will be developed and completed in accordance with the latest development proposal provided to us by the Group. In arriving at our opinion of value, we have taken into account the construction cost and professional fees relevant to the stage of construction as at the valuation date and the remainder of the cost and fees to be expended to complete the development. We have relied on the accrued construction cost and professional fees information provided by the Group according to the different stages of construction of the property as at the valuation date, and we did not find any material inconsistency from those of other similar developments. We have valued the property interest in Group III which is held for future development by the Group by the comparison approach assuming sale of the property interest in its existing state with the benefit of immediate vacant possession and by making reference to comparable sales transactions as available in the market. This approach rests on the wide acceptance of the market transactions as the best indicator and pre-supposes that evidence of relevant transactions in the market place can be extrapolated to similar properties, subject to allowances for variable factors. For the purpose of our valuation, property developments under development are those for which the Construction Works Commencement Permits have been issued while the Construction Work Completion and Inspection Certificate/Tables have not been issued; and property developments for future development are those the Construction Work Commencement Permits are not issued while the State-owned Land Use Rights Certificates have been obtained. –IV-2– THIS DOCUMENT IS IN DRAFT FORM, INCOMPLETE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND THE INFORMATION MUST BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SECTION HEADED “WARNING” ON THE COVER OF THIS DOCUMENT. APPENDIX IV PROPERTY VALUATION Our valuation has been made on the assumption that the seller sells the property interests in the market without the benefit of a deferred term contract, leaseback, joint venture, management agreement or any similar arrangement, which could serve to affect the values of the property interests. No allowance has been made in our report for any charge, mortgage or amount owing on any of the property interests valued nor for any expense or taxation which may be incurred in effecting a sale. Unless otherwise stated, it is assumed that the properties are free from encumbrances, restrictions and outgoings of an onerous nature, which could affect their values. In valuing the property interests, we have complied with all requirements contained in Chapter 5 and Practice Note 12 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities issued by the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited; the RICS Valuation – Global Standards published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors; the HKIS Valuation Standards published by the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, and the International Valuation Standards published by the International Valuation Standards Council. We have relied to a very considerable extent on the information given by the Group and have accepted advice given to us on such matters as tenure, planning approvals, statutory notices, easements, particulars of occupancy, lettings, and all other relevant matters. We have been shown copies of title documents including Real Estate Title Certificates and other official plans relating to the property interests and have made relevant enquiries. Where possible, we have examined the original documents to verify the existing title to the property interests in the PRC and any material encumbrance that might be attached to the property interests or any tenancy amendment. We have relied considerably on the advice given by the Company’s PRC Legal Advisers – Haiwen & Partners, concerning the validity of the property interests in the PRC. We have had no reason to doubt the truth and accuracy of the information provided to us by the Group. We have also sought confirmation from the Group that no material factors have been omitted from the information supplied. We consider that we have been provided with sufficient information to arrive an informed view, and we have no reason to suspect that any material information has been withheld. We have not carried out detailed measurements to verify the correctness of the areas in respect of the properties but have assumed that the areas shown on the title documents and official site plans handed to us are correct. All documents and contracts have been used as reference only and all dimensions, measurements and areas are approximations. No on-site measurement has been taken. We have inspected the exterior and, where possible, the interior of the properties. However, we have not carried out investigation to determine the suitability of the ground conditions and services for any development thereon. Our valuation has been prepared on the assumption that these aspects are satisfactory and that no unexpected cost and delay will be incurred during construction. Moreover, no structural survey has been made, but in the course of our inspection, we did not note any serious defect. We are not, however, able to report whether the property is free of rot, infestation or any other structural defect. No tests were carried out on any of the services. –IV-3– THIS DOCUMENT IS IN DRAFT FORM, INCOMPLETE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND THE INFORMATION MUST BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SECTION HEADED “WARNING” ON THE COVER OF THIS DOCUMENT. APPENDIX IV PROPERTY VALUATION Inspection of the properties was carried out in May 2021 by Ms. Gloria Wang, who is a China Certified Real Estate Appraiser, and Ms. Corrina Li, both of them have more than 10 years’ experience in the property valuation in the PRC. All monetary figures stated in this report are in Renminbi (RMB). We are instructed to provide our opinion of value as per the valuation date only. It is based on economic, market and other conditions as they exist on, and information made available to us as of the valuation date and we assume no obligation to update or otherwise revise these materials for events in the time since then.

Received August 30, 2015; Accepted December 12, 2015; Epub December 15, 2015; Published December 30, 2015 Abstract: The effects of betel quid dependence (BQD) on biochemical changes remain largely unknown. Individu- als with impaired cognitive control of behavior often reveal altered neurochemicals in Magnetic Resonance Spec- troscopy Imaging (MRSI) and those changes are usually earlier than structural alteration. Here, we examined BQD individuals (n = 33) and age-, sex-, and education-matched healthy control participants (n = 32) in an 2D 1H-MRS study to observe brain biochemical alterations in the anterior cingulated cortex (ACC) associated with the severity of BQD and duration of BQD. In the bilateral ACC, our study found NAA/Cr were lower in BQD individuals compared to the healthy controls, Cho/Cr and Glx/Cr were higher in individuals with BQD compared to the healthy group, but increase was noted for mI/Cr in BQD individuals only in the left ACC. NAA/Cr ratios of the right ACC negatively cor- related with BQDS and duration, NAA/Cr ratios of the left ACC negatively correlated with duration, Glx/Cr ratios of the right ACC positively correlated with BQDS.

Joint International Mechanical, Electronic and Information Technology Conference (JIMET 2015) Assessment of Coastal Zone Ecological Carrying Capacity -- A Case Study of Haikou City Junkuo Cao1, Weiquan Wang2, Xueping Zhang1, *, Yuzhang1 and Ziqiang Luo1 1 Department of Information science technology, Hainan Normal University, Hainan, 571158, China 2 Department of Network management center, Hainan Medical University, Hainan, 571199, China *email: [email protected] Keywords: Coastal Zone, Ecological Carrying Capacity, Evaluation Index System, AHP Model. Abstract. Taking Haikou coastal zone as the study area, we use comprehensive evaluation method to select a number of support factors and limiting factors to determine the indicators of ecological carrying capacity. Combined the data of social economic development of Haikou, using analytic hierarchy process model, the whole evaluation system will be divided into three assessment levels, including the target layer, criterion layer and index layer. With regard to the weights of each level, we use the information entropy method to figure out automatically. Taking into account the specificity of coastal areas, as well as miniature changes in statistics process, evaluation results are grouped into five categories: little load, normal load, full load, overload, and red load. The evaluation results show that the ecological coastal zone carrying capacity of Haikou from the year 2008 to 2012 raised slightly with an average annual growth rate of 7.88%, the minimum carrying capacity is about 0.17, and the maximum carrying capacity is about 0.23.In recent years, Haikou ecological carrying capacity is still under the normal load, and it will be further expanded if further control depends on scientific data and information.

  • Multi-Systemic Melioidosis: a Clinical, Neurological, and Radiological Case
Huang et al. BMC Infectious Diseases (2018) 18:649 https://doi.org/10.1186/s12879-018-3569-8 CASEREPORT Open Access Multi-systemic melioidosis: a clinical, neurological, and radiological case study from Hainan Province, China Wei-yuan Huang1†, Gang Wu2†, Feng Chen1, Meng-meng Li3 and Jian-jun Li1* Abstract Background: Melioidosis is a tropical disease caused by Burkholderia pseudomallei (B. pseudomallei). It can infect any organ system and lead to multiple abscesses. A few studies reported that central nervous system (CNS) is also involved. We present a diabetic patient with multi-systemic melioidosis that affected the CNS, thorax, and spleen. The aim was to study the clinical and radiological features of melioidosis and enhance understanding of the disease. Case presentation: A 38-year-old male presented with cough and expectoration mixed with blood for several days. Chest computed tomography (CT) showed a patchy opacity in his left lung, and multiple low-density lesions in his spleen. After 10 days of antibiotics treatment, his clinical symptoms improved and he was discharged from the hospital. But 8 months later, the patient experienced sudden onset of left limb weakness and seizure and was re-admitted to the hospital. Brain CT indicated a low-density lesion over the right frontal lobe, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) indicated a well-enhanced lobulated lesion with multiple diffusion restriction areas in the lesion. He had a neuronavigation-guided open surgery but no malignancy was found. B. pseudomallei was cultured from the operative samples. After 4 months of systemic and intraventricular antibiotic administration treatment, he recovered complete consciousness with left hemiparesis.
