Harrison & Greg Ward Girls Golf of Greater Newark LPGA*USGA The Learning Center program for girls ages 7-17, was formed to create a at network for girls to learn to play golf, build friendships and sample competition in a positive and supportive Galloping Hill learning environment. The only national initiative of its kind just for girls, the program provides the presents opportunity to achieve success, progress in golf, and establish a life long interest in the game.

Girls work with a PGA or LPGA Instructor to learn the basics in rules, etiquette, full swing, short game, and putting. The program: • Helps develop self esteem • Provides grant opportunities • Provides an incentive to continue to progress and improve your game • Creates a network in which girls feel comfortable in golf • Teaches an appreciation and love for the game of golf because IT’S FUN! Renaissance Junior Golf, Inc. the parent organization of LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Greater Newark, in partnership with Union County, conducts programs May – July at Galloping Hill Learning Center.
