    Gründer Und Mastermind Der Band Ist Kein Geringerer Als Der Deutsche

    Gründer und Mastermind der Band ist kein Geringerer als der deutsche Ausnahme-Drummer Bodo Schopf, der über viele Jahre fester Bestandteil der legendären Prog-Rock Band ELOY war und zudem für Größen wie Michael Schenker Group, Eric Burdon, Udo Lindenberg und Jack Bruce trommelte – nicht zu vergessen sein Engagement bei den kultigen Glam- Rockern The Sweet. Bodo weißt mehrere Chartplazierungen in Japan, USA, Deutschland, England, Spanien und Italien vor und erhielt Auszeichnungen in Gold und Platin. Den Sänger, David Readman (Pink Cream 69, Voodoo Circle, Almanac und Tank), lernte Bodo Schopf auf einer Tournee 2012 kennen. Er spielte dem Engländer einige seiner frisch komponierten Tracks vor, und Readman war auf Anhieb derart begeistert, dass er die Songs unbedingt einsingen wollte. Jedoch kurz danach, wanderten David nach Holland und Bodo nach Sardinien aus, so dass die beiden erst 2014 beginnen konnten, an den Songs zu arbeiten. Nach den ersten Aufnahmen waren sich David und Bodo einig, dies als Band weiterzuführen, dies war die Geburtsstunde von „Pendulum of Fortune“. Mit Bassist Franky R. holte sich Schopf einen guten, alten Bekannten an Bord, mit dem er bei der Michael Schenker Group zusammen gespielt hatte und der unter anderem auch schon für und mit solch großartigen Künstlern und Bands wie Ronnie James Dio, Kingdom Come und Vanden Plas gearbeitet hat. Bei der Suche nach einem Sologitarristen, stieß Bodo im Internet auf den unglaublichen Gitarristen Vladimir Shevyakov, ein Studio- und Livemusiker aus Moskau, er studierte Klassische Gitarre und spielte mit bekannten Künstlern aus Russland. Bodo schickte Vladimir 2 Songs übers Internet, dieser war total Begeistert und machte innerhalb einer Stunde seine Zusage als Sologitarrist bei Pendulum of Fortune.

According to Zagorski-Thomas (2014: 66), the »use of the term in music has been to describe the character of a particular individual or group's performance style and output, but can also relate to a record company or a producer.« He gives the example of producer Phil Spector, who worked with the same pool of musicians, and the Motown label with their iconic band the Funk Brothers, who recorded in the Snakepit studio. Other signature sounds from characteristic instruments and effects devices shape popular music genres (Brockhaus 2017). Even countries and cities can have signature sounds (Simmons 2004; Owsinski 2006; Zagorski- Thomas 2012; Massey 2015; Herbst 2019, 2021), e.g. Philly soul. Many ap- proaches for analysing a recording and its meaning have been pursued. Based on auditory analysis, von Appen (2015), Helms (2015), and Zagorski-Thomas (2015) have interpreted potential decisions in the production process con- cerning their creative and commercial reasons. But as Morey's (2008) analysis of the Arctic Monkeys' demos has shown, even highly skilled production ex- perts and musicologists can be wrong in their assumptions and interpreta- tions.

    Metal Symphony http://www.metalsymphony.com Los alemanes Axxis sacarán su nuevo "Utopia" (2009) el próximo 28 de agosto a través del sello AFM Records. El material ha sido mezclado por Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69), también productor de la obra junto al cantante Bernhard Weiß, mientras que Derek Gores se ha encargado de la increíble portada. La grabación se ha realizado en los estudios House Of Music de Alemania. El álbum saldrá editado en una edición normal con doce temas mientras que en digipack incluirá dos canciones extras. Una de ellas lleva por título "20 Years Anniversary Song", dura más de veinte minutos y para su grabación la banda ha contado con la colaboración de los cantantes Andi Deris (Helloween), Schmier (Destruction), Rolf Stahlhofen (ex Söhne Mannheims), Doro, Claus Lessmann (Bonfire), David Readman (Pink Cream 69) y Walter Pietsch (ex Axxis). Tambores de guerra sirven para abrir paso a la nueva obra de Axxis, “Journey To Utopia” nos introduce por completo en esta obra la cual sigue un curso con un Power Metal demoledor con “Utopia”, un corte donde predominan los teclados a cargo de Harry Oellers que le dan un toque muy especial haciéndolo poderoso en el conjunto global de la canción. Axxis se ha caracterizado por crear temas pegadizos y “Utopia” como no podía ser de otra manera es uno de ellos, una canción muy adecuada para abrir cualquier show de la banda. Pequeños elementos orquestales, serán los encargados de crear un halo misterioso y entrañable en “Last Man On Earth”, apreciándose una gran labor en los coros, como podremos detectar nada más escuchar el estribillo del tema.

    PUSSY SISSTER Bekannt durch TV-Sendungen auf VOX,RTL,Pro7,RTL2 und über 500 Live Shows weltweit... Knallende Rock’n’Roll Riffs, heiße Outfits und Balladen voller Gefühl... ein Phänomen im deutschen Rock´n Roll Zirkus...!!! "Musik kommt, Musik geht - aber den Rock´n Roll wird es immer geben" - so denken die Jungs aus dem Badischen von Pussy Sisster, und genauso leben sie Ihn auch: WILD, HEISS und vor allem EXPLOSIV! Pussy Sisster, die 2002 von Alex Nad, Wolfgang Schwechheimer und Chris Nad gegründet wurden, haben sich seit der Bandgründung das Ziel gesetzt, den Weg nach Oben zu gehen. Im August 2005 haben sie ihr erstes Demoalbum "Sleazy Things" aufgenommen. Das gleichnamige Lied kam auf die Hollywood Hairspray 6 (Perris Records/USA) und auf die Hitpack New Rock Vol.3 (EMG-Music/Edel). Der Song „Broken Man“ kam auf die Dead Famous Vol.6 (Astral Records/Australien) und war 5 Wochen auf Platz 4 der australischen Indie Charts. Auch der Song Over the Top war in Texas 4 Wochen in den Rockcharts auf Platz 2. Der Song „Vampires of Death“ ist auf Deutschlands größtem Promosampler von Titus und war 2 Wochen auf Platz 1 in den Indie Radiocharts in Texas. Im Februar 2007 nahmen Sie die von David Readman (Pink Cream 69) produzierte EP "Hot like Hell" auf und gingen damit im März 4 Wochen auf England-Tour. Im März 2008 kam das neue Album "City of Angels" und Pussy Sisster war vom 19.März - 9.April auf USA Tour. Im September unterschrieb die Band einen Labeldeal bei SPAT!Records in Nashville/ 4 US-Touren mit Konzerten in den legendären Clubs Viper Room, House of Blues,Whisly a Gogo & ROXY in Hollywood unterstreichen den Wille und Erfolg der jungen Band.

Regular readers will remember that I am somewhat of a fan of an American TV series called Veep staring the delectably foul- mouthed Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer a former Maryland Senator who, in the start of the series, is the titular Vice President, or "Veep", with strained relationship with the President. After the president declines to run for a second term, she begins campaigning in Season 3. At the end of Season 3, she becomes president when he resigns for personal issues. Due to a complex manipulation of constitutional law, she loses the presidential race in season 5. It is probably the only US reboot of a British TV series which I prefer to the original, and as the Dear Friends, original was The Thick of It featuring future timelord Peter Capaldi, and future sex offenders Welcome to another issue of my favourite music registeree Chris Langham. I thought that The magazine; indeed, the one which has come closer Thick of It was magnificently funny, but overall to fulfilling the concept of a music somehow Veep (which was created by Armando magazine that I first tried to publish (and failed Iannucci when a straight graft of the UK show impressively in doing so) back thirty five years onto the American TV rosebush failed to be taken ago, when my first music fanzine was an up by the networks) manages to be first through overblown mishmash of pretension and slightly the finishing line.
