Heidi Läubli in predsedniku kluba g. Zaradi omejenih in slabih finan čnih sredstev BC Divac Zürich sem poskušal ekipo pripeljati do želenega cilja predvsem na podlagi lastnih izkušenj in znanja. Ob koncu diplomskega dela obravnavam še primerjalno analizo treninga v ekipah KK Portorož in BC Divac Zürich. Keywords: basketball, team, analysis, Zürich, coach. ANALYSIS OF THE BASKETBALL CLUB BC DIVAC ZÜRICH IN THE PLAYING SEASON 2015/2016 Luka Stiplošek Sports training, Theory and methods of basketball Number of pages: 61 Number of figures: 32 Number of tables: 9 Number of sources: 30 ABSTRACT Every coach is trying to prepare his team properly for the new season. Beside good preparation the analysis of former seasons could help him to achieve good, but also bad experiences. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the senior team BC Divac Zürich, which tried to progress to the higher competitive level. Due to the restricted financial possibilities I tried to fulfil the planned goal mainly based on my own knowledge and experiences, which I gained as a trainer of younger selections in the Basketball Club Portorož. By analysing the work of the senior team BC Divac Zürich for the season 2015/16 I tried to present the training elements as: technical and tactical workouts with ball or without it, conditioning workouts, strength and persistence workouts. The team started with preparation in the second half of August 2015, after the selection of the team was done. In the playing season 2015/16 BC Divac Zürich played 20 games and lost only four of them. By the end of the season the club reached the third position and in that way realized the planned goal. The progression to the higher league demonstrates that the proposed competitive plan was appropriately prepared. At the end of the thesis I am presenting a comparative analysis of the studied clubs, namely Basketball club Portorož and BC Divac Zürich. MONBILE This year we have set ourselves new challenges by modifying some crucial aspects of the competition with the aim of improving its competitiveness and quality. For the first time in ULEB Cup history we will have 54 teams participating. The expansion of the competition has been necessary due to the high number of requests to participate in the ULEB Cup competition received from clubs as well as our desire to maintain the high competitiveness and quality of the participating teams. I believe that we have achieved both goals. We have 54 teams from 26 different countries, including 7 countries which are completely new to the ULEB Cup competition: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Estonia, Montenegro, Switzerland, Ukraine and Romania.
