During the ceremony, outgoing commander Thomas R. Hustead passed the unit guidon to Col. Yolonda R. Summons. Summons was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and commissioned in May of 1992. She graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology. She entered active duty in October 1993. She is currently enrolled in the Army War College via Distant Education and is scheduled to graduate in the summer of 2018 with a Master's in Strategic Stud- ies. Some items on the list of Summons's extensive accomplishments are Platoon Leader for the 18th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital, Fort Lewis; Executive Officeer for the 104th Medical Detachment, Fort Lewis and Aide-de-Camp to the Deputy Commanding General at the U.S. Army Mecial Department Center and School, Fort Sam Houston. Before assuming command of the Shape Healthcare Facility, she was serving as the Chief, Medical Service Corps Branch at Human Ressources Command, Fort Knox, Kentucky. Hustead, a native of Manchester, gave his farewell address with emotion. His final assignment was as the commander for the Shape Healthcare Facility in Belgium from 2015 to 2017.
