Amongst the countries participating, the top four which contributed the most number of abstracts were Malaysia (76%), followed by Indonesia (9%), Taiwan and Thailand (3% each) . The continuous interest worldwide in participation abodes well for the future of AcE-Bs. It certainly signaled the justification, relevance and timeliness in organizing this fourth annual serial conference with the objective of publicising more behavioural studies, which involved in particular, the ASEAN communities. Studies of other communities which fit the theme of the conference were also most welcomed. The abstracts ultimately transformed into 58 approved full papers, a returned rate of 60%. Those were contributed by authors from Malaysia (80%), Indonesia (6%), Japan and Taiwan (5% each), and, Australia and Vietnam (2% each). The full papers were simply grouped generally under 15 categories of environments, although quite a number could have been easily placed under more than one category. The top four categories in order of popularity involved the following environments:- Urban Environment (31%), Outdoor Environment (14%), Health Environment (10%), Inclusive and Local Culture Environment (7% each). On a final note, the Centre for Environment-Behaviour Studies (cE-Bs), FAPS, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, the main organiser of AcE-Bs 2013, together with the co-host, Hanoi Architectural University, Hanoi, Vietnam, congratulate all contributors in making AcE-Bs2013Hanoi a tremendous success! Hopefully this conference will inspire and encourage more researchers to participate in our forthcoming AcE-Bs, AicE-Bs, and AicQoL serial conferences to be held annually. The increase in participation shall be most highly likely as the Conference Proceedings shall be published in Elsevier's Procedia Social and Behavioural Sciences accessible online in www.ScienceDirect.com. Thanks again for your continuous support as always, and hope for an enlightening conference!
