Each character also has his own opponent, with whom they will fight in the fourth stage. The last two stages have a selected player character battling with a team of tag geese and bison, and then, depending on what side is opposite to their character, Orochi Iori or Evil Ryu. As a side feature, there is an Olympic mode where a player can play themed mini-games such as explosive Mars Aliens FPS-style (raised from the final boss of Metal Slug 2) or helps Arthur from Ghosts'n Goblins hop pits to snatch treasures as well as there being an attack, first kick, and survival events. In addition to trying to challenge the player's character more than once in the game's storyline (and being beaten by this character's opponent without a fight), they also appear in a special intro animation of the Husseys' battles against M.Bizon; they taunt each other and jump behind the scenes, letting their bosses take over. Sagat makes a cameo appearance in the game; when the player scores the Olympic event with Ryu, the recording screen will make a reference to Ryu's ending in II, where the podium appears with M. Bison on the spot #2, Sagat in place of the #3 and no one in place #1, on which there is a comment at the bottom of the screen: What? Ryu's gone. In the Cat Walk Olympic event, Lord Raptor (from the Darkstalkers series) can be seen playing guitar. If the game is inserted into the black and white Neo Geo Pocket, rather than in neo Geo Pocket Color, there will be special error screens with additional cameos.
