The Complex is the largest single stream unit in Asia to produce 914 KTPA Para-xylene and 283 KTPA Benzene. This Aromatic Complex is situated in 442 Acres of land in the Mangalore Special Economic Zone (MSEZ) located in Permude, Mangalore which is around 17 km from Mangalore. ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited (OMPL) invites Bids from eligible Bidders on Open Tender Basis for the subject works/Services in total compliance to technical specifications, scope and terms & conditions of tender documents/attachments. Bidders offer must be complete in all respect without any deviations. Bidders are requested to submit most competitive offer for all items as per tender terms & conditions in Price Bid/Schedule of Rates Format. Please note that issuance of technical and commercial queries is not envisaged and Bidders offer may be evaluated based on input given therein. Brief Scope of Supply/work includes: Carrying out 10” Size CS Line Execution on MSEZ Corridor and Associated Works inside MRPL to Facilitate Supply of Raw Water to OMPL as per the scope of supply/works defined in Bidding/Tender Document. 2. Area of Work: SEZ Area (10” CS Line Laying in SEZ Corridor and inside OMPL) and NON SEZ Area (Associated Work inside MRPL). 3. Goods and Service Tax (GST): The area of work for the subject work is SEZ Area and NON SEZ Area. Hence taxes and duties shall apply as per GST Act as follows: a) Non SEZ Area: Supplier shall charge GST for Non SEZ Area. b) SEZ Area: OMPL is an approved unit within Mangalore SEZ. Exemptions/ benefits under SEZ regulation shall be availed and passed on to OMPL while quoting. Supply to SEZ units under the GST shall be treated as supply in the course of inter-State trade or commerce and the same will be treated as "zero rated supply" as per IGST Act. Accordingly Supplier shall not charge GST on supply to OMPL Bidder to note that work order for Non-SEZ and SEZ Areas shall be issued separately. 4. Contract/Completion Period:

    Present October 2015 Real Estate Overview: Chennai Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, is located on the Coromandel coast off the Bay of Bengal. It is the fourth largest populous metropolitan city in India; as per 2011 census the city‟s population was 8.7 million. It is also the biggest industrial, commercial and cultural centre of South India. Industry and commerce: Chennai is India‟s second largest exporter of Information Technology (IT)/ IT enabled services (ITeS) and also accounts for 60 per cent of India‟s automotive exports. Medical tourism is also substantial with the city attracting 45 per cent of all health-conscious international tourists and 35 per cent of tourists from within the country. Apart from the existing industrial locations such as Ambattur, Guindy and Maraimalai Nagar, growing commercial corridors are along the Grand Southern Trunk (GST) Road and Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR). OMR has been promoted as the „IT Corridor‟ by the state government. GST road which connects Chennai and Trichy, is a major special economic zone (SEZ) corridor, key SEZs along this road are Shriram‟s Gateway, Mahindra World City and Estancia. Connectivity: Chennai has excellent connectivity by road and rail to important domestic locations and by air to many international ones. The metro rail connecting Koyambedu to Alandur began operations recently. Planned infrastructural development: Ongoing projects in the city include the six-laning of OMR phase two (about 26 kms) from Siruseri to Mahabalipuram, the Outer Ring Road I which will connect GST Road to Bengaluru Highway (Vandalur-Nazarathpet-Nemilicary) and the Chennai Metro Corridor connecting Chennai Airport with central Chennai.
