Show Full Version Jihadist Website Posts Al-Libi's 'Guidance on the Ruling of the Muslim Spy' GMP20090708342001 Jihadist Websites -- OSC Summary in Arabic 30 Jun 09 [Corrected version: removed multiple hyperlinks from text] Terrorism: Jihadist Website Posts Al-Libi's 'Guidance on the Ruling of the Muslim Spy' On 30 June, "Murasil al-Fajr" posted to the Islamic Al-Fallujah Forums website several links to a 149-page book entitled "Guidance on the Ruling of the Muslim Spy." The book discusses in detail the religious rulings concerning Muslim spies working for "the vicious Crusader campaign that is launched by the United States and its allies against Muslims and Islamic countries." The book contains an introduction by Ayman al-Zawahiri, Al-Qa'ida's second in command, who emphasizes the importance of the topic of the book and praises Al-Libi's "valuable, serious, scientific, and practical research on the Islamic judgment on spying." In the book, Al- Libi discusses in extensive detail all religious rulings concerning Muslim spies, emphasizing that they are "apostates" and therefore should be killed as they disclose "the shortcomings of Muslims." He also warns of their danger, saying: "One single piece of information transmitted to them, by one of their spies, is able to exasperate spirits, honor, and possessions in a way that thousands of their mobilized soldiers cannot do." The book was released and published by the Al-Fajr Media Center. -

CHIBLI MALLAT From Islamic to Middle Eastern Law A Restatement of the Field (Part I) So viele Berichte, so viele Fragen -Bertolt Brecht' Any approach to law in the region known as Near or Middle East is doubly selective, as the historical depth of the tradition enhances the diversity of cultures active in the contemporary world.2 Law is a particular example where the contrasted set-up which characterizes twenty-five or so modern Nation-states is as much a product of a so- phisticated and ancient history as it is the result of heavy require- ments imposed by the pace of the recent transformation of the area. Western influence on Middle Eastern law in its contemporary opera- tion is pervasive. Pakistan’s demand was placed by the majority of the common people, and at the grassroots level the religio-political elite were supported through their religious institutions. A Sufi, or Ahle-Sunnah wa Jamaat religious group, gave their unconditional support to the All India Muslim League, the only political party in the sub-continent which was Muslim representative. A Sufi or Ahle-Sunnah wa Jamaat refused to accept the pressure of power politics. The religio-political leaders unanimously decided to strengthen the Pakistan Movement for the creation of Pakistan. The author of this paper tried to be unbiased and impartial during analysis and writing of this paper. Keywords: Pakistan Movement, Ahle-Sunnat wa Jamaat Sufi Group, Sufi ,Tasawwuf Introduction Pakistan is called an Ideological State due to its religio-political identity 1. The ideology based Islamic state came into being due to the efforts of Muslim masses of the sub-continent. The main theme of separation of India was very logical. All the leaders of the Muslim community can be seen in the scenario of the Pakistan movement within two categories. -
The Importance of Ahl Al-Sunnah
TO THE READER •A special chapter is assigned to the collapse of the theory of evolu- tion because this theory constitutes the basis of all anti-spiritual philosophies. Since Darwinism rejects the fact of creation—and therefore, Allah's existence—over the last 140 years it has caused many people to abandon their faith or fall into doubt. It is therefore an imperative service, a very important duty to show everyone that this theory is a deception. Since some readers may find the chance to read only one of our books, we think it appropriate to devote a chapter to summarize this subject. •All the author's books explain faith-related issues in light of Qur'anic verses, and invite readers to learn Allah's words and to live by them. All the subjects concerning Allah's verses are explained so as to leave no doubt or room for questions in the reader's mind. The books' sincere, plain, and fluent style ensures that everyone of every age and from every social group can easily understand them. Thanks to their effective, lucid narrative, they can be read at one sit- ting. Even those who rigorously reject spirituality are influenced by the facts these books document and cannot refute the truthfulness of their contents. •This and all the other books by the author can be read individual- ly, or discussed in a group. Readers eager to profit from the books will find discussion very useful, letting them relate their reflections and experiences to one another. •In addition, it will be a great service to Islam to contribute to the publication and reading of these books, written solely for the pleas- ure of Allah. -

Abstract A Subcontinent’s Sunni Schism presents the first-ever history of the 150-year religio- political rivalry between the Deobandis and the Barelvis—arguably the most important schism in the “Muslim world,” and certainly the most significant within Sunni Islam. More recently, that rivalry has often been expressed by means of bullets and bombs, especially in Pakistan. But beyond the headline-grabbing violence of the Deobandi- Barelvi schism lies the story of a century-and-a-half-long religious antagonism: at first over converts, later for competing visions of the political future, then for a place within a new “Islamic” polity—for dominance within its political structure. For Deobandis, the rivalry was defined by their struggle to propagate a “pure” Islam, as opposed to the Barelvi deviation (plus an unmitigated hatred of the British presence in India); for Barelvis, their right to speak for the “Sunni majority” was what defined the battle—a privilege that the Deobandis had long sought to usurp. -

One of these famous scientists was Abu al-Mu‘in al-Nasafi. In Central Asia, in the branch of the Islamic kalam theology there were the works “Tabsira al-Adilla”, “Bahr al-Kalam”, “al-Tamheed li qawa‘id al-Tawheed”, which considered the issues of maturidia theological study. In the XIV century the great scientist from Syghanaq Husam al-din al-Syghnaqi made a detailed research of the work “al-Tamheed li qawa‘id al-Tawheed” of Abu al-Mu‘in al-Nasafi and wrote the work “al-Tasdeed fi sharh al-Tamheed” by giving a full explanation of all questions relating to the issue. This article considers the content and the kept versions in the World libraries and the importance of this work for today. -
