Depending on your account settings, Communicate’s translation feature allows you to translate English email, phone and text messages into over 100 languages. Use this list as a guide to let you know what languages are available for which message types.

Note: In addition to your district’s account settings, translation availability will also depend on which communications platforms (Twilio or Syniverse) and short code your district is using.

Important: SMS text messaging (a free feature) is not active by default on your SchoolMessenger Communicate account and requires special setup. Ensure you're using the correct short code by checking with Support.

Why is the language I want on this list but isn’t available when I try to translate my message in Communicate?

This can happen for a number of reasons:

1. The language code wasn’t included in your data import.

2. This language isn’t enabled for your account.
