Liberal Party of Australia, S.A. Branch SRG 168/3 Young Liberal Movement Series List

In 1928 the Political Reform League of Young Liberals was formed. It joined with the South Australian Liberal Federation the following year and in 1932 became the Young Liberal League (YLL). The Young Liberal League went into abeyance during World War II until 1951 when a Co-ordinating Council of Young Liberal branches was formed and a Young Liberal Division of the Liberal and Country League established. This was succeeded in 1968 by the South Australian Division of the Young Liberal Movement (YLM) of Australia, known as South Australian Young Liberals. The Young Liberal Movement was not associated with the Liberal Movement Party established in South Australia in May 1973. The Young Liberal Movement of South Australia, South Australian Division, describes itself as ‘an integral part of the Liberal Party of Australia S.A. Division’ (By laws 1975) and sends delegates to meeting of the State Council.
