Dhul-Hijja Muharram 1st Islamic Month There are 12 months near Allah. Since He have created all the heavens and earth. Out of 12, four months are precious. During these months, one should be more conscious about avoiding sins and committing bad deeds. Allah Ta'alae has dedicated these 4 months as His chosen months. The remaining 8 months are for His servants (mankind). These months are Moharram, Rajab, Dul Al-Qadah and Dul Al-Hijjah. MUHARRAM UL HARRAM:- This is the first month of Islamic Year. This month is designated for Allah. In this month, it’s a duty of every Muslim to be aware of faults and sins. The Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SallAllah ho Aleywasalm) ordered that “I have presumption that the rooza on the day of 10 of Moharam (Ashoura), which purifies from the sins conduct by Muslims whole year”. Ashoura is on the 10th day of the month Moharram. The Aulia Kiram states,, on the 10th of Moharram if a person offers prayers by 2 rakat Nuwafil, the first rakat receite Sourah e Fathia and after that Surah Inam, in the 2nd rakat, after surah fatheia, receite Surah e Yaseen., Allah will reward him with the virtuous of 1000 years prayers. Miracles in the month of Muharram ul Harram:- 2 / 10 Islamic Months Last Updated Wednesday, 15 February 2012 14:08 Muharram ul Harram is also one of the most precious month because of the following reasons:-- - Hazrat Adam (a.s.) was exonerating on his mistake on the 10th of Muharram. - Hazrat Nooh (a.s.) boat stroked from the mountain on the 10th of Muharram. - Hazrat Moosa (A.l.S.) descended Ferron and his army on the 10th of Muharram. - Hazrat Easa (a.s.) was born on the 10th of Muharram. - Hazrat Yunus (a.s.) came out from the stomach of Wale on the 10th of Muharram. - Hazrat Imam Hussein (r.a.u.) was martyred on the 10th of Muharram. - And Hazrat Tajuddin Aulia (r.a.u.) took veil from this materialistic world on the 26th of Muharram. Zikar (Apparent) in the month of Muharram ul Harram:- Some of the most momentous prayers for this pious month are as follows:- The Holy Quran must be recited daily. Mostly the Wirde (Continious reciting, Errand) of Istagfar (Deprecation) must be done. Surrat ul Fathia, Ikhlas, Reham and Yasin must be recited. Usually, Daruud Sharif must be Wirde (Continuous reciting, Errand). Extra Nawafil must be prayed for the Raza (contented) of Allah Almighty. Superiority of this month is Allah Almighty avowal the Dua and prayers offered by a person whole heartedly by the sake of Prophet Mohammed (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and by His Holy Friends (Aulia, Sufi, Saints or Wali). Safar 2nd Islamic Month Safar ul Muzafar:- The Holy Prophet Mohammed (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said that “Safar is a month of Stresses”. At the bringing of this month Prophet Mohammed (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) bears testimony and at the finish of this month Prophet Mohammed (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) bears happiness. In this month one lack twenty thousand terrible (Evilness) disembark from the sky, but those people who offers daily prayers and spend some of their period in devotion specially during this month gets safe from the misfortunate. Merciless in the month of Safer ul Muzafar:- Safer ul Muzafar is also one of the most precious month because of the following reasons:- Hazrat Imam Hussin (r.a.u.) was martyred in the month of Safer ul Muzafar. The recitation of Surrah Wakiah, Imran, Yunus and Nassar should be done. Usually, Daruud Sharif must be Wirde (continues recitation, Errand). Superiority of this month is Allah Almighty avowal the Dua and prayers offered by a person whole heartedly by the Sadqua of Prophet Mohammed (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and by His Holy Friends (Aulia, Sufi, Saints or Wali). Rabi-ul-Awal 3rd Islamic Month Rabi-ul-Awal is the third month of the religion Islam. This month is designated to the "Lord of all the heaven" Holy Prophet Mohammed (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). In this blissful month it is less as much as you celebrate. If it is possible, so better must take bath every day change cloth which must be immaculate and fragmented. From the beginning till 12th of this month we must keep our house immaculate and lightened on this basis and pray that Almighty Allah may bless our graves with His Holy Nur (Divine light). Events in the month of Rabi-ul-Awal:- Rabi-ul-Awal is one of the most precious month because of the following reasons:- - Hazrat Mohammed Mustafa (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) "Blessings for entire world" was born in this month. - Hazrat Makhdhom Ali Sabir Piya (r.a.) and Hazrat Qutab-ud-din Bakhtiar Kaki (r.a.) toke veil from this materialistic world in this month. The greatest miracle of this month is when Prophet Mohammed (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) was born so Abu Jahel who was the uncle of our Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammed (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), celebrated the birth of Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammed (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). So due to this reason Almighty Allah Ta'ala decrease some punishment on him only for two days which he celebrated for Hazrat Mohammed (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) birth. Rabi-ul-Sani 4th Islamic Month There are 12 months near Allah Ta'ala. Among those twelve months Rabi-ul-Sani is the forth month. Rabi-ul-Sani is the month served for the mankind and also has much proficiency. Events in the month of Rabi-ul-Sani:- Rabi-ul-Sani is precious because of the following reasons:- - Hazrat Imam Malik (r.a.) veiled in the month of Rabi-ul-Sani. One of the magnificent saints of Silsila (Order) Chistia Hazrat Syed Khawjha Nizam uddin Aulia (r.a.) veiled from this materialistic world in this holy month. Pira Ne Pire Dastagire Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani Ghous-e-samdani Qutab-e-Rabani (r.a.) popularly known as Ghouse Pak also veiled from this materialistic world in the month of Rabi-ul-Sani, because of this precious reason this month is called as Ghouse Pak month. Zikar in the month of Rabi-ul-Sani:- Mostly much of the prayers are given in the Wazaifs but some of the most momentous prayers for this pious month which are granted by Hazrat Bawa Tajuddin Aulia (r.a.) are as follows:- The Holy Quran must be recited daily. Mostly the Wirde (continues reciting) of Istagfar (Deprecation).Extra Nawafil must be prayed for the Raza (contented) of Allah Almighty. The recitation of Surrah Fatiha, Maryam, Muzammil, Taha and Ayatal Kursi should be done. Usually, the Wirde (continues reciting) of Daruud Sharif. Superiority of this month is Allah Almighty avowal the Dua and prayers offered by a person whole heartedly by the Sadqua (Sake) of Prophet Mohammed (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and by His Holy Friends (Aulia, Sufi, Saints or Wali). Jammadul Awal 5th Islamic Month 5 / 10 Islamic Months Last Updated Wednesday, 15 February 2012 14:08 Almighty Allah Ta'ala has bestowed the human being with countless beneficence and blessings, so it is duty of every Muslim to thank Allah by prayers for such blessing and remember Him in every instant of time where it is the moment of happiness or grieves, in the time of criticalness or calmness. This month of Jammadul Awal is a very holy month. In this month Allah Ta'ala avowals all the prayers which are done true heartedly. Events in the month of Jammadul Awal:- Jammadul Awal is precious because of the following reasons:- - Hazrat Imam Ghazali (r.a.) and Hazrat Molana Jalal uddin Rumi (r.a.) toke veil from this materialistic world in this month. Zikar in the month of Jammadul Awal:- Mostly much of the prayers are given in the Wazaifs but some of the most momentous prayers for this pious month which are granted by Hazrat Bawa Tajuddin Aulia (r.a.) are as follows:- The Holy Quran must be recited daily.

    The 21st Century New Muslim Generation Converts in Britain and Germany Submitted by Caroline Neumueller to the University of Exeter as a thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Arab and Islamic Studies October 2012 1 2 Abstract The dissertation focuses on the conversion experiences and individual processes of twenty-four native British Muslim converts and fifty-two native German Muslim converts, based on personal interviews and completed questionnaires between 2008 and 2010. It analyses the occurring similarities and differences among British and German Muslim converts, and puts them into relation to basic Islamic requirements of the individual, and in the context of their respective social settings. Accordingly, the primary focus is placed on the changing behavioural norms in the individual process of religious conversion concerning family and mixed-gender relations and the converts’ attitudes towards particularly often sensitive and controversial topics. My empirical research on this phenomenon was guided by many research questions, such as: What has provoked the participants to convert to Islam, and what impact and influence does their conversion have on their (former and primarily) non-Muslim environment? Do Muslim converts tend to distance themselves from their former lifestyles and change their social behavioural patterns, and are the objectives and purposes that they see themselves having in the given society directed to them being: bridge-builders or isolators? The topic of conversion to Islam, particularly within Western non-Muslim societies is a growing research phenomenon. At the same time, there has only been little contribution to the literature that deals with comparative analyses of Muslim converts in different countries.

FRANKL in consultation with YAHYA ALI OMAR In the Islamic calendar Ramadan is the month of the year during which Muslims throughout the world observe strict fasting between dawn and sunset; this is the fourth of the five pillars of Islam. 'The fast of the month of Ramadan is obligatory [Ar. fard or MM/!7']for every believer provided he [or she] be of sound mind, an adult, and able to support it' (al-Nawawi 1914: 99). With regard to Ramadan the entire Islamic world follows the same religious practices in all essentials; where non-essentials are concerned there is variety in local usage. The account which follows is mainly concerned with the observance of Ramadan in I Swahili-land, with special reference to Mombasa.' At the end of the nineteenth century the population of Mombasa was small and almost entirely Muslim;' today, towards the end of the twentieth century, the population and size of the town have increased enormously, largely because, since the 1960s especially, many inhabi- tants from the interior have settled and been settled in central Swahili- land with varying degrees of permanence. As a consequence about half of the population resident within the boundaries of Mombasa Municipality is now, perhaps, Muslim, although the proportion is approximately ninety-five per cent in Mombasa's Old Town. The autocthonous Swahili are the largest single group of Muslims in Mombasa, but there are other African Muslims too, as well as Omanis, Hadramis, Comorians, Baluchis and Indians; during Ramadan all are especially conscious of Islamic bonding.

    Guidelines to fast the six days of Shawwal From the teaching of Quran and Purified Sunnah Compiled by: Abu Abu Hurayrah Shawwal 11, 1441 H (June 3, 2020) Revised: Shawwal 2, 1442H (May 14, 2021) In the name of Allaah, ar-Rahman, and Ar-Raheem, Peace and blessings be upon the best of mankind, Mohammad Ibn ‘Abdillaah, Sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. Below are some guidelines based upon the authentic hadith and discussion of scholars of Ahl-as-sunnah Wal-Jama’ah. I ask Allaah to make us return to the correctness of each matter/issue where there is a dispute by going back to the teaching of the Quran and Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (Sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). 1. All the rulings of religion are the same for men and women unless there is clear evidence to prove otherwise. Hence when I used the male term, it should be understood that it applies equally to female believers. 2. The six days of Shawwal fasting is recommended in an authentic hadith narrated by Abu Ayyub al-Ansari and reported by Imam Muslim. There are other companions who reported this hadith too and some of them are also authentic. 3. Fasting six days of Shawwal is nafl/sunnah, i.e. optional. 4. Fasting six days of Shawwal is not makrooh! (it is reported that Imam Malik used to consider fasting these days makrooh) 5. It is from the sunnah al-Qawliyyah. (i.e. the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam recommended this fasting verbally) 6. The reward of this fasting is equivalent to 60 days (worth two months).

    Fasting Six Days of Shawwal 1 of 2 In the Name of Allah, The Benevolent, the Merciful Fasting Six Days of Shawwal Fasting Six Days of Shawwal – Ruling, Whether Consecutive, Combining Intentions, Wisdoms, and What if Unable to Fast? – Faraz Rabbani The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, on the authority of Abu Ayyub (Allah be pleased with him “Fasting Ramadan and following it with six days from Shawwal is like continual fasting.” [Muslim,)] This is because the reward of actions is multiplied (at least) ten-fold. So Ramadan is like fasting 300 days, and the six days of Shawwal like fasting 60 days. The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) himself stated this explictly: “Fasting Ramadan is like fasting ten months, and fasting six days [of Shawwal] is like fasting two months. That is like fasting a full year.” [Ahmad & Nasa'i] 1. Religiously recommended. Based on the outward purport of this hadith, the majority of the scholars– including Imam Shafi`i, Imam Ahmad, and Imam Abu Hanifa consider it a recommended sunna to fast six days in Shawwal. There are narrations from Abu Hanifa indicating its dislikedness, but these are understood to relate to considering it a duty to fast these days. [Nawawi, Majmu`; Ibn Qudama, Mughni; Ibn al-Humam/Marghinani, Fath al-Qadir `ala al-Hidaya; Ibn Abidin, Radd al-Muhtar] 2. Consecutive or not? Some of the scholars considered it recommended to fast these days consecutively after Eid al-Fitr, including Imam Shafi`i. They based this on a hadith related by Tabarani and others in which the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) is reported to have said, “Fasting six consecutive days after Eid al-Fitr is like fasting the entire year.” Other scholars, including both the Hanbalis and Hanafis, considered it the same to fast consecutively or not–because they deemed the above hadith to be excessively weak.
