FINISHING SYSTEMS FOR HIGH SPEED AND FLEXIBILITY

Ever since the acquisition of the JETWEB product portfolio in 2012, Contiweb offers high quality finishing systems with the Contiweb CG, Contiweb DP and PF for use in web-fed printing applications. Based on the experience with over 1.000 systems worldwide, Contiweb finishing applications stand for a concept which is technologically geared to high-speed production, quality and flexibility so that they can provide specific solutions for every application. Contiweb finishing systems are flexible and offer expand products and opportunities for web-fed presses.

The Contiweb CG is a coating and gluing unit for applying aqueous coating, aqueous glue, scratch-off ink and micro- fragrances to the top side of the web (with an optional bottom-side supply).

The Contiweb DP series consists of 3 different models: • DP-S: single circumference perforator and die-cutter with magnetic cylinders for die cutting and cross-running perforation in any pattern. Both die-cuts and perforations are made against a hard-chromed impression cylinder resp. blanket cylinder. • DP-D: as the DP-S but with a double circumference. • DP-C: combination of a double die-cutter and perforator where both die-cuts and perforations are made against a blanket cylinder in the lower unit and against a hard-chromed impression cylinder in the upper unit. Thanks to the position of the pairs of cylinders it is possible to work with perforating plates and die cutting plates simultaneously.

The Contiweb PF is a prefolder consisting of web shifting device, folding stations with folding bars, register compensator, infeed and exit section.
