It’s been another fast-paced month with the State Government’s Fit for the Future reforms around the joint organisations (JO) coming to fruition. It has been announced that Kyogle will be joining the five other member Councils (Tweed, Richmond Valley, Lismore, Byron and Ballina) of NOROC to establish the new JO. We will meet at the end of the month to discuss our transitioning arrangements, including the establishment of a new charter and voting model. The JO will enable member Councils to collaborate, plan and deliver regional projects. ANZAC Day was a lovely day.
