Page 2 CONFERENCE INFORMATION Dear Colleagues: As we celebrate the 20th Annual PA Forensic Rights and Treatment Conference, we look back over the past two decades and reflect on the numerous positive system and treatment changes that have occurred. More importantly, we continue to have a long road ahead that is complicated by increased global violence, economic challenges, political and media influences and a changing perspective in the industry of behavioral health treatment—but with increased opportunities as well, stemming from influences such as major technological advances and increased research on practice-relevant questions. We welcome you to this conference, which focuses on the science of human behavior and its application to justice related settings. This year we will present data on a number of important topics, including parricide and treatment for sexual offenders. We had a large number of responses to the request for workshop presentations. As a result, we have many presentations of great interest and relevance to your work. We have also moved the site of this conference to the Harrisburg/Hershey Sheraton. We are looking forward to an exciting event and hope you can join us.
