Dwarf-Elf (Half Dwarf, Half Elf)

Sample file Intro

Half Races of the Realms is a campaign supplement designed to be used by both the master and player characters. In a campaign world full of numerous sentient hu- manoid creatures it's highly likely that mixed races other than just half-, half- and half- would arise, especially in certain areas in the Realms. This supplement depicts twelve of the most common half races, where they are most likely to be from, their unique traits, and how other groups of interact with them.

“A half-dwarf, half-elf? Disgusting. I’ve dedicated my life to eradicating those ugly, bearded ground-slugs from the face of Faerun. Any so called ‘dwarf-elf’ should be slain at birth before it infects our kind with tainted dwarf-blood. Our innocent women should never even have to think of such a wretched act as having one of those dirt-covered tanglebeards...” -Aramis Dwarfslayer, native of Drannor, upon being asked if he ever encoun- tered a dwarf-elf.

Dwarf-elves, called Elf-dwarfs by the dwarvenkind, are very rare, since most elves and dwarves don’t get along well. The pairing does happen on occasion though. Most Dwarf-elvesSample resemble stocky, short elves with thin beards and large noses.file WHERE THEY’RE COMMONLY FOUND

Most recorded appearances of dwarf-elves have been in cities like Silverymoon, Water deep, or Raven’s Bluff, and the Dalelands. No dwarf-elves are allowed in Evermeet or Evereska, nor are any dwarf-elves allowed the deep dwarf cities, or Iron- master in the Frozenfar.

PROUD AND TOUGH

Dwarf-elves are often stubborn, like their dwarven kindred, but also somewhat vain and aloof like elves. Many come across as extremely arrogant and prideful, and although most are generally good-natured, a few have been lured by dark powers into evil.
