Notes for Table H.5 and H.6

The figures in these tables refer to Core indicators H2(a) Net additional dwellings in previous years, H2b) Net additional dwellings for the reporting year and H2(c) Net additional dwellings for future years a) Net Additions provided by district authorities.

Not all districts provided data up to 2025/26. Where data is not available cells have been greyed out. HMA figures have been calculated by summing their districts- HMA totals are only calculated for as many years as data is available for all their districts.

In some instances 2001/02 figures have been taken from data collected for the 2001/02 Annual Monitoring Report

Two target figures have been provided, the annual average requirement from the Draft RSS and an average annual requirement calculated from the 5 year targets given in the RSS Proposed Changes.

Districts have used estimates obtained from SHLAA studies where available, elsewhere they are best estimates of known supply, including uncommitted sites.

All districts are considered to have complied with the CLG guidance on production of housing supply figures for trajectories. Available at http://www.communities.gov.uk/publications/planningandbuilding/coreoutputin dicators2

Known exceptions:

None

Most, but not all, districts accounted for the market downturn (spring - autumn 2008) to some extent in assessing deliverability timescales:

Known exceptions:

• West Lindsey • Boston •

The figures in the table should comply with District LDF Annual Monitoring Reports; in some cases those have been used as the source of data. In some cases the data extends beyond the LDF AMR period.

Known exceptions:

• North Kesteven: combines two alternative approaches in the AMR to show identified land supply only • East Lindsey: recalculated to show identified land supply to 2016 only • Mansfield, supply relates to RSS period rather than N&N JSP; (adjustment by Notts CC) • South Kesteven: 2001-02 added

Additional notes on data provided for each HMA are presented under the relevant chart.

Source: Local Authorities Most authorities did not include urban extension trajectories, but some considered it appropriate to do so. There is still uncertainty to be resolved with CLG about the circumstances in which sustainable urban extensions are to be included Blaby's approach to 5 year land supply was supported by use of the trajectory in an appeal decision in November 2008.

There were comparability problems and some data was missing so returns for 2005 have not been included in the trend analysis. Note: The very large reduction in landfill deposits of wastes between 2004 and 2006 is a result of changes in legislation (particularly the Landfill Directive). Anticipation of the legislation seems to have caused an increase in imports of hazardous construction & demolition waste for landfill disposal in 2004, followed by a sharp reduction due to restrictions and more limited disposal opportunities in 2006.
