TIMEMACHINE ROAD Built by Speed Road - Aero Series TIMEMACHINE ROAD Built by Speed Road - Aero Series TIMEMACHINE ROAD Built by Speed You’re not looking for an ordinary race bike. You are looking for the fast- est road bike ever. One that is your instrument to tear away from the pack. For beating the clock, beating the competition, or simply beating your best in style. The poise and prowess of the Timemachine Road give it impetus in breakaways, rolling terrain, and bunch sprints. Inspired by all things fast, the Timemachine Road exudes speed and technology. A pure breed of sculptured design and stealthy engi- neering. The Timemachine Road stakes ownership of the tarmac with over- arching aero integration for WorldTour-winning speeds. Aerodynamically perfected shapes, class-leading integration of the ICS Aero cockpit and the all-new Aero Module that turns hy- dration and storage requirements into an aerodynamic advan- tage; these are our key innovations to help the rider push through and keep up with the charging machine below for that bit longer. You’re not an ordinary rider and this bike is anything but or- dinary. Timemachine Road, enter a new era of speed. www.bmc-switzerland.com/timemachineroad Road - Aero Series TIMEMACHINE ROAD Swiss Engineering An uncompromising machine ready to satisfy your desire for speed, quality and precision. The result of extensive in-depth aero modeling, obsessively refined through CFD simulations, wind tunnel sessions, track and road testing. Ultimate Integration Integration is at the heart of BMC innovations: every compo- nent of the Timemachine Road is integrated into a stealth-look- ing system design, with the purpose of gaining free speed. The new ICS Aero cockpit features a minimal frontal surface area and stealth cable routing for reduced drag with no lim- itations to functionality or fit. Our Aero Module integrates functional components – hy- dration and storage – in the pursuit of the most aerody- namic configuration for real-world riding. Power Transfer The Timemachine Road has been designed to de- liver maximum efficiency for the most powerful rid- ers during all-out sprints and accelerations, cour- tesy of its exceptional bottom bracket and chainstay stiffness. Adjustability was not in any way compromised and the timemachine offers the highest adjustment possibility ever built into a fully integrated time trial bicycle. Adjustability being a key part of the system’s performance, it is necessary to understand that most components of the frameset have been designed specifically for timemachine and their function may slightly differ from your traditionnal road bike “off the shelf” components. BMC timemachine uses all the latest and most high-end technologies that can be found in bicycle manufacturing, including sharp edged and thin-walled carbon fiber composite construction, which should be treated with delicacy from the end user to prevent permanent Introduction and sometimes invisible damage.

How Does the Need for Post-Purchase Services Affect the Digital Transformation of Value Systems? Student: A.J. Hartman Student Number: S2561646 Supervisor: T.L.J. Broekhuizen Co-assessor: P.J. Steinberg Date: 02 March 2020 Word Count: 13636 Abstract The impact of digitalisation on value systems has received much attention from business scholars. Nevertheless, little is known about how digitalisation transforms value systems for physical products that require post-purchase services (PPSs) like product commissioning and repair service. Such services are traditionally offered by physical dealers and may strengthen their position, thus affect the digital transformation of value systems. By conducting a case study in the Dutch bicycle market, this study sheds new light on how digital transformation of value systems is affected by PPSs. Findings show that when there is a sufficient need for PPSs, incumbent intermediaries can use PPS resources to protect themselves against disintermediation. Furthermore, findings contradict the prevailing view that digital transformation is a one-way process. Findings evidentially portrait the digital transformation of value systems as a dynamic process; the extent to which activities in value systems are digitized can increase and decrease. Moreover, findings show that a high need for PPSs offers a temporal protection against digital disruption. Keywords: Activity redistribution, digital disruption, digital transformation, (dis)intermediation, post- purchase services, value systems reconfiguration, vertical
