Implementation Status Overview As of October 31, 2013, the Grant amount for the original project has reached a disbursement rate of about 100 percent. Except for the intermediate indicators on the length of road rehabilitated, all results of the original project have been achieved. Out of theproposed number of km initially planned for periodic maintenance (about 1,056 km) under the project, 750 km was completed leaving a gap of about 306 km not executed. An Additional Financing (AF) of about US$19.5 million was approved by the Bank's Board of Directors on March, Public Disclosure Copy 21, 2013 to fund the remaining road works. With the approval of the AF, and implementation of the activities supported by it, the project PDO is expected to be fully achieved in terms of road length.. However, the AF effectiveness date was extended twice. The new date for effectiveness is January 10, 2014.
