In order to evaluate the contestants’ knowledge of Laguna’s history, culture and tourism, Gawad sponsored quiz bee, essay writing and poster making contests. The elimination round of the quiz bee was thru a written exam. Top 20 schools were chosen to compete for the next three rounds of the contest proper. Winners received trophy for the group event and medals for the individual contests. They were also awarded with certificate of recognition and cash prize. Best MomentAnonymous Ever! February 21, 2014 – one of the most memorable moment in my life. This is the night when the JS Prom was held in our school. I arrived at 5:30 PM. I changed my clothes in the computer room and shot some pictures which will serve as my remembrance in this once in the lifetime event .As the music began to play, beautiful gowns, good looking outfits and sweet melody made the event a unique celebration. The balloon arc and the new stage gave the venue a pleasant look. I looked for my partner so that we can prepare for the incoming ceremony. When the program started, we took some photos at the balloon arc and at the stage. After the speech of the staff, we began candle light ceremony. We took a break and ate dinner after the cotil- lion dance. We also joined the “Search for Mr. and Ms. JS 2014”. Even if I wasn’t chosen as one of the finalists, I was still happy to have an experience in that moment. After the program, the music and beat flowed and students started to dance again. When the sweet melody started to play, I invited my first dance, my classmates, then followed by my friends from III-Magnesium and IV-Einstein. Of course, I had not forgotten to invite my partner at the dance floor. My friends and I rolled when hip-hop music played. We had a lot of bonding the whole night. And, speaking with the best dance? My 7th dance is my best one. The event ended at 4:00 in the morning. I arrived at 5:30 at home. It took over a week before I get over in this very memorable, lovable and unforgettable celebration in my life – the JS Promenade 2014!
