A bid acknowledged by the auctioneer is a legal contract to purchase the item. SILENT AUCTION RULES Each item in the Silent Auction has a bid sheet. Persons desiring to bid may do so by writing their bid number and amount of bid on the sheet. Use only the number assigned to you. Silent Auction items are listed in your auction booklet by table number. Individual item numbers listed in the booklet correspond with the bidding sheet. Each new bid must exceed the previous bid by the minimum amount indicated on the bid sheet.
