The only Division I head coaching experience for this group has come at their current schools. Omaha’s Derrin Hansen was with the Mavericks during their transition from the Division II to Division I level, which occured starting with the 2008-09 campaign. South Dakota’s Todd Lee and North Dakota’s Paul Sather also have head coaching experience at the DII level. Lee was at Kentucky Wesleyan (2005-13) for eight seasons, while Sather spent nine years at Northern State (2010-19).
