Check-out service will be available beginning at 8:15pm BIDDING NUMBER You were assigned a bidding number at the registration table. Use this number for both silent and live auction bidding, as well as IOUs throughout the night. LIVE AUCTION RULES The live auction will begin at 8:30 pm and continue until all items have been auctioned. Each person desiring to make a bid shall use their bidding number. A bid acknowledged by the auctioneer is a legal contract to purchase the item. SILENT AUCTION RULES Each item in the Silent Auction has a bid sheet. Persons desiring to bid may do so by writing their bid number and amount of bid on the sheet. Use only the number assigned to you. Silent Auction items are listed in your auction booklet by table number. Individual item numbers listed in the booklet correspond with the bidding sheet. Each new bid must exceed the previous bid by the minimum amount indicated on the bid sheet. A bid will be disqualified if it’s scratched out, written over or illegible. Bid sheets must not be removed from their posted location. Silent auction will open for bidding at 5:30pm. Individual tables will close upon announcement. Bids written after closing will not be accepted. The closing bid highlighted by an auction official constitutes the winning bid. Each written bid is a legal contract to purchase the item. Auction chairpersons shall act as the final authority on any bidding dispute. CHECKOUT Payment is to be made in full the evening of October 20th, 2018 at the cashier’s table prior to any merchandise leaving the premises. Failure to make arrangements for full payment that evening will result in the forfeit of your right to purchase the item(s). Payment may be made by cash, check, MasterCard or VISA. Checks should be made out to CACS. Upon payment of your items, you will receive a receipt that may be used to collect your items from the respective tables. GENERAL RULES ALL SALES ARE FINAL. All items are sold “as is, where is” and there will be no refunds or exchanges on items except where specified. All items must be removed from Neighborhood Pub & Grill on the night of the auction unless other arrangements are made with the auction official. All certificates must be used by October 20st, 2019 unless otherwise stated. TAX INFORMATION Stated values of auction items are donor’s estimates and are not warranted by the Chilton Area Catholic School or Good Shepherd Parish for tax purposes or for general value. For tax purposes, a charitable deduction is limited to the excess contribution over the declared value. The combined receipt will serve as a receipt for every item purchased. Each year, we will chose a couple of programs or needed items to be highlighted at the “Toast to our Future” evening. CACS will start by upgrading our surveillance and door security system that was installed nearly 20 years ago in the old building. The CACS �ire alarm panel is also in dire need of an upgrade.
