Add the first question. User Reviews Very mediocre 17 August 2018 | by vaklavkoca – See all my reviews It's not bad. But it's not good. I know other people are saying, "well Simpsons and Futurama didn't hit their stride in the first few episodes, it took them a few seasons to really get going." But I just kind of feel the opposite. Like, Simpsons came out in 1989. So they've had almost 30 years to perfect their craft. This show doesn't feel like 30 years in the making. Some of the animation is off, some of the sound design is off. There are scenes where characters are walking and there are no walking sound effects, scenes where someone gets hit with a sword and there are no swinging or clashing sound effects. There is a bar fight scene, where you can only really hear the character's voices, there is barely any background noise at all. The writing feels really bland. All of the jokes are really expected, and most of them fall flat. Overall, this show is not bad, but it certainly isn't Simpsons, nor is it Futurama.     TIME TO CONCEIVE – A NEW ARGUMENT FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF TIME TRAVEL By Daniel Burkett A thesis submitted to the Victoria University of Wellington in fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Arts in Philosophy Victoria University of Wellington 2012 Abstract Ordinarily, philosophers arguing for the possibility of time travel restrict themselves to defending time travel against allegations of inconsistency and contradiction. These objections are usually based on particular theories about time and causality. I believe, however, that this way of arguing can be turned on its head. By using the conceivability thesis – that is, the thesis that if something is conceivable, then it is also possible – we can put forward a positive argument for the possibility of time travel, and then consider how this should inform our metaphysical views. I do this by assuming the truth of the conceivability thesis and then presenting a simple piece of time travel fiction. I argue for the conceivability of this story and, in doing so, attempt to show that the time travel journey it describes is logically possible. I then develop this argument by considering other more controversial cases of time travel. I make minor alterations to the original time travel story in order to show that there are a number of different kinds of time travel journeys (including cases of both forwards and backwards time travel) which are conceivable and, therefore, logically possible. Finally, I ask how the conceivability of different types of time travel should affect the metaphysical views we choose to adopt. I argue that since the conceivability of time travel entails the logical possibility of journeys to other times, any plausible theory of time must be able to accommodate such journeys.

I examine how shifting developments in economic, societal, cultural, and gender relations impacted the perception of cinematic masculinity. The men, more specifically white and heterosexual, in these films position themselves as victims and, as a result, turn to alternative outlets to ease their frustrations and anxieties. In order to broadly survey the genre of the past two decades, I focus on three consistently popular character tropes in Hollywood comedies: slackers, office workers, and bromantic friendships. All the male characters discussed throughout the thesis are plagued by their innermost anxieties and desires that compromise their gendered identities. However, these films resort to a regressive understanding of masculinity and functions within the dominant heteronormative structures. This thesis demonstrates how Hollywood comedies present a contradictory and multifaceted image of modern masculinity.

Simpsons Comics Simpsorama am a huge fan of both the Simpsons and Futurama,they are both created by Matt Groening and the humour is very similar so it didn't feel like they were bringing Simpsons Comics Simpsorama shows together that have little in common. It was truly magical seeing characters such as Homer and Bender interact and I have high hopes that they make more Simpsorama's in the future,I would be perfectly fine if they wanted to make one every year,the same way they do with Treehouse of Horror,it would be a great way to keep Fry and the gang alive and it would be something cool and different for the Simpsons to do.
