India-Switzerland Relations Political Relations India and Switzerland have had cordial and friendly relations since India’s independence. The relationship is based on shared values of democracy, multiculturalism and the rule of law. Switzerland established its Consulates General in Mumbai and Bangalore. India has a Consulate General in Geneva.
