Puoleen saakka afrokieltä, sitten englantia mukavalla kuuluvuudella. PEH 1566 17.2. 0454- - Vahvasti taajuuden brittien säestämänä. Englantia 0500 UTC asti, jonka jälkeen puoli tuntia paikallisilla murteilla ja taas englanniksi 0530 UTC alkaen. TEJ Aasia 558 8.2. 1320-1330 CHN: CNR, Xinjiang-Ug, Urumqi. Uusi tuttavuus mainioilla keleillä, lähettää uiguuriksi. Tavalliset japanilaisetkin olivat perjantaina ja torstaina äänessä. SSS 666 4.2. 2020-2110 PHL: DZRH Manila. Huuhteli kutsuidejä ohjelman lomassa. Tämä taajuus on tainnut unohtua kansalta tsekata, vaikka asema tuntuu kuuluvan helpohkosti, kun illalla Liettuan tehomylly on hiljaa. TK 702 4.2. 2100- PHL: DZAS Valenzuela. Selkeä IDi eurojen ja kiinalaisen puristuksessa juuri tasalta. Tämäkin taajuus tuntuu olevan illalla auki. TK 1062 4.2. 2100- PHL: DZEC Eagle Broadcasting, Pasig. Tälläkin iso idi tasalla, liekö aloitellut päiväänsä. TK 1260 28.8.04 1903- CALCEL TWN: Cheng Sheng BC, Putzi. 'Zhen Shen Guan Bo Dien Tai'. Aseman identiteetti varmistui vasta taiwaninlaisen kuuntelijan avustuksella. Perun tämän lokauksen, koska asemalta tuli jo kauan sitten vastaus, että tämä ei ole heidän ohjelmaansa. On uskottava asemaa, vaikka taiwanilainen kuuntelija idin nauhoituksesta löysikin... JHY/V 1269 8.2. 1350-1405 PHL: Bombo Radyo. Ei call-idiä, mutta Bombo & puhelinnumero. Kummallista keliä, taajuudella Kiinan FS + filsu, myöhemmin heikosti alkoi tulla myös DLF (ant. BOG 300 m NE veden ja loskan alla). Lienee taajuuden tavallisin filsu. SDR:stä kaivettu. TK 1386 6.2. 1600- J: JOJB NHK-2 Kanazawa. Lopetusseremoniat. Aikaisemmin tässä tuli Kiinaa, Intiaa ja Thaimaata. Mukava puhdas taajuus - toistaiseksi. Alkuperäishittejä viime vuosisadan puolivälin tienoilta. MSO 1540 17.2. 0700- CAN: CHIN Toronto, ON. Jo musavalikoima kavalsi aseman ennen asemakuulutusta. Italiaa, hyvin tähän aikaan. MSO 1540 24.1. 0727- USA: WDCD Albany, NY. Samaan aikaan mielenkiintoiset 1380 kiinaa WKDM? ja 1330 espanjaa. Ja tällä taajuudella puhuttiin tietysti kielillä. MSO 1560 16.2. 0556- USA: WQEW New York NY. Disney-id taajuutta kopaistessa. SA-NA-asemaa luettavuuden rajamailla 1390:stä ylöspäin. JVH 1630 9.2. 0602- USA: KKGM Forth Worth TX. legal-id'ssä "Morteson Broadcasting station" - uusi asema mulle. Kiva. JNU 1650 9.2. 0606- USA: KWHN Forth Smith AR. "newstalk 1650" ja jatkoi C2C:n tutun tunnarin hiipiessä aalloille. Uusi jenkkiosavaltio. Jihaa! JNU 1660 16.2. 0550- USA: WCNZ Marco Island FL. TEJ 16.2. 0557- - Aamun vahvin. Heitti "Relevant Radio dot com" taajuutta ohitettaessa. JVH 1670 17.2. 0549- USA: WVVM Dry Branch GA. Tasalta kutsu, muuten "Viva 16-70" ja lattari-mx. Jotenkin nämä etelän asemat, varsinkin kotona kuultuna, yhä säväyttävät, X-bandin "inflatorisesta" vaikutuksesta huolimatta. Samalla 1680 ja 1700 lujaa, 1190 asti töhinöitä. JVH 17.2. 0552- - Idasi sopivasti "Viva 16-70" juuri taajuudelle tullessani. Kuului tosi heiveröisesti ja painuikin pian kohinaan musiikkia soitellen. Uusi asema minulle. TEJ 1680 16.2. 0540- USA: WLAA Winter Garden FL. TEJ 1690 9.2. 0600- USA: WMLB Avondale Estates GA. VOice of the Arts. Ei ihan hirmu yleinen tuttavuus etelässä. JNU 1700 9.2. 0550- USA: KVNS Brownsville TX. "Oldies Radio, 17-hundred KVNS Brownsville...". Vahvasti 62 m "beveragella"... JVH 9.2. 0602- - "Oldies Radio, Classic Rock & Roll". Tosi vahvasti, alla toinen jenkki, ilmeisesti WEUP. TEJ 9.2. 0559- - Laitetaan tämäkin, kun tuli niin hienosti. Leveä kaista ja oldies-musaa olisi voinut kuunnella pidempäänkin. JNU 1700 9.2. 0552- USA: WEUP Huntsville AL. Nousi gospeleineen pariin otteeseen texasilaisen rinnalle. "WEUP, the people´s station, praising God...". JVH 1700 17.2. 0557- USA: WJCC Miami Springs FL. Idit pari minuuttia ennen tasaa sekä espanjaksi että englanniksi. "W-J-C-C 17-00 AM". TEJ Keski-Amerikka 1320 17.2. 2330- PTR: WSKN R Isla, San Juan. Nousi mukavasti kertoillen nimensä. Tämän saaren asemia tuli edellisyönäkin mm. 1390 WISA (NoID). MSO 1340 9.2. 0558- CUB: CMFL R. Ciudad del Mar, Palmira. 10 kiloa ylempänä tuli paremmin pinkan päällimmäisenä. Tämä lienee kuitenkin harvinaisempi? JNU 1350 9.2. 0558- CUB: CMFL R. Ciudad del Mar,Aguada de Pasajeros. "Esta es C-M-F-L Radio Ciudad del Mar..." nätisti päällimmäisenä. JNU 1430 9.2. 0605-0630 DOM: HIJC Radio Emanuel, Santiago. Kannattaa muuten joka aamu kuulla uusi asema, vaikka sitten tallenteelta. Tuli hienosti, ja himassa!! JNU 1570 9.2. 0610- MEX: XERF Cd. Acuna. JM 9.2. 0630- - TEJ 9.2. 0635- - Paukkumalla. MSO 780 7.2. 0538- VEN: YVMN R Coro, Coro. Aseman kello on ruvennut jätättämään koskapa edisti enää minuutin. MSO 1250 9.2. 0603- CLM: HJCA R Capital, Bogotá. MSO 9.2. 0605- - JM 9.2. 0621- - JVH 1290 9.2. 0628- VEN: YVLF R Puerto Cabello, Puerto Cabello. Lujaa. JVH 1300 1.1. 0310- VEN: YVNS R Amistad, Maracaibo. Nauhojen kelaus toi muutamia aiemmin havaitsemattomia esiin. MCK/N 1320 9.2. 0611- VEN: YVWP R Apolo, Turmero. JVH 18.2. 0600- - Ihmettelin juuri tallennuksesta purkamaani asemaa ja päätin kurkata OLLiin. No, asema kuultu samana aamuna by JVH. MSO 1470 10.2. 0215- VEN: YVSY R Vibración, Carúpano. Information listed in this guide is correct as at 20 November 2014. 2 GOLDEN PUBLICITY TIPS There are over 1000 events and exhibitions taking part in the 2015 Adelaide Fringe and while they all deserve media attention, it is essential that you know how to market your event effectively to journalists and make your show stand out. A vibrant pitch and easy-to-access information is the key to getting your share of the media love. Most time- poor journalists would prefer to receive an email containing a short pitch, press release, photo/s and video clip rather than a phone call – especially in the fi rst instance. Here are some tips from the Adelaide Fringe Publicity Team on how to sell your story to the media: 1) Ensure you upload a Media Kit to FERS (Step 3, File Upload) These appear on our web page that only journalists can see and the kits encourage them to fi nd out more about you and your show.

The writing of history consists in t he complementary activities of analysis and reflection. A study of the school cadets in New Zealand from their evolution in the old established colleges till 1914, provides an opportunity for both these activities to be attempted throug~ the medium of a relatively small but highly defined topic. As an institution, the cadets provide an interesting study in themselves, for by minutely observir.g the specialised activities of a l arge section of New Zealand society, namely its children together with those especially concerned with the cadets through education or defence, it is possible to gain a detailed under standing and insight into their beliefs and assumptions.

Panel Reviewing the Impact of Hurricane Katrina on Communications Networks (EB Docket 06-119) Dear Ms. Dortch: On September 1, 2015, the undersigned President of the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters, Inc. ("NABOB") along with Francisco Montero of Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, PLC, and David Honig, President Emeritus and Senior Advisor, Multicultural Media, Telecommunications and Internet Council ("MMTC") met with Commissioner Ajit Pai and Alison Nemeth, Legal Advisor, to discuss the most important and effective proposal set forth in the AM Revitalization Notice: opening an application filing window for FM translators that would be limited to AM broadcast licensees. As the Commission recognized in the Notice, the best way to help the largest number of AM stations to quickly and efficiently improve their service is to open such an AM-only window. Any other approach will make it extremely difficult, if not impossible, for AM stations, to obtain the translators they urgently need to remain competitive and provide our communities with the service they deserve.

Consequently our children are exposed to, or can potentially access more content, from a wider range of media, on an ever-expanding range of devices. ► But what media are New Zealand children consuming in 2014? How are they accessing it, and how often? ► What content do they love and seek out, and what might they be missing? ► What do parents allow and not allow, and what content do they want for their children? ► How often are children exposed to challenging content? Do they recognise it as ‘not for them’, and what do they do in response? ► What are parents doing to try to minimise this exposure? ► The 2014 Children’s Media Use Study aims to answer these questions. © Colmar Brunton 2014 4 © Colmar Brunton 2015 | PAGE 4 The 2014 media context The need to update our understanding of New Zealand children’s media behaviour is made more important by the ongoing rapid changes in the media landscape.

  • Commercial Radio Reaches 3.3 Million New Zealanders. Total NZ Survey 1 2020
EMBARGOED UNTIL 1PM (NZST) THURS APR 23 2020 Commercial Radio Reaches 3.3 Million New Zealanders. Total NZ Survey 1 2020 The New Zealand Commercial Radio Industry released the S1 first quarter Radio Audience Data into the market today and it reveals that over 3.6 million New Zealanders were listening to radio every week as the country went into lockdown and over 3.3 million of those listen to commercial radio stations. The GfK Radio Audience Measurement survey contacts at least 14,000 respondents across New Zealand every year. The fieldwork for this survey ceased in late March just before the lockdown was announced. RBA CEO Jana Rangooni says “This is an unprecedented situation for the country and the Industry agreed at this time to suspend all fieldwork until at least late June. This means there will be no S2 Release as originally scheduled for June 25th. We hope to make a decision about options for the remainder of the year by the end of May.” NZME CEO Michael Boggs says Radio’s incredible value to New Zealanders has been reinforced in recent weeks, as it invariably does in times of crisis and uncertainty. “Radio, like all media has been focused on supporting our audiences through this period. Whether it be supporting the Government as a Civil Defence Emergency broadcast partner, delivering round the clock local, national and international news coverage or by keeping New Zealanders entertained and connected, Radio is delivering for audiences as it always does in times like these.” MediaWorks CEO Michael Anderson says that it's clear that New Zealanders are turning to Radio as a trusted source for news and entertainment especially through breaking events like Covid-19.
