Within this grant, teachers will be able to acquire knowledge of how to help students understand the Holocaust better and assist them to make critical thinking connective decisions as well of how they can make a positive difference today- when dealing with challenging social and political issues. Resources used throughout the grant: Founded in 2005, Echoes & Reflections is a comprehensive Holocaust education program that delivers professional development and a rich array of resources for teachers to help students make connections to the past, gain relevant insight into human dilemmas and difficult social challenges, and to determine their roles and responsibility in the world around them.
